I am planning to sponsor my parents in 2018 , I was wondering If I meet the LICO . I sponsored my wife this year.
2014 income - 36,700
2015 - 46,000
2016 - 73,000
Thanks
My sister and I have our PRs, live and earn in Toronto.
we want to sponsor our mum and dad by starting the application in 2018 after the lottery selection (fingers crossed).
Is there any chance we could be co-sponsors of mum and dad, to make MNI?
currently, one of my past 3 financial years (2014) does not make the MNI so i'm sad i can't apply as a solo sponsor for 2018 count of 3 (me+mum+dad).
however my sister's + her husband's income should qualify for the past 3 years for a count of 5 (sis+hubby+baby+mum+dad)
our concern is about my sister's eligibility as sponsor; since my sister had spousal sponsorship by her Canadian citizen husband (and now has her PR status) is she ineligible to sponsor our parents because she herself was sponsored? she apparently read it somewhere but i am unable to find that info.
if she can sponsor them, that would be good news and I would greatly appreciate a link to the CIC website confirming so.
cheers!
For 2018 sponsorship, can we anticipate IRCC to check qualification of candidates before entering the candidates to lottery round?
If IRCC decides to perform qualifications, can I get feedback from the contributors on the list of qualifications?
1. Relationship Qualification - that one is sponsoring own parents/grandparents and not others like brother's in-laws.
2. Residency Status - PR/Citizen to apply.
3. Income Qualification - Meet 2014, 2015, 2016 - Minimum Necessary Income
4. No Duplication of Lottery Entry Request
Once Qualified for lottery, the applicant must pass the -
1. Medical check
2. Background/Criminal check
Along with above, the condition also applies to Sponsor that he/she will take care of the parents/grandparents for a certain years.

Hi,
Family of 3, sponsoring my parents+brother. Husband's income has been 85K for 3 years. what are the chances?
Thanks
My wife and I have been staying in Canada since 2010 and got our PR on 2014. I want to sponsor my mom and dad and she wants to sponsor her mom (her dad passed away last year). Can we submit a all these 3 sponsorship together ? We don't have kid and earned >$100,000 for the past 3 years.
Thanks in advance !
Thanks RobYou each need to enter the lottery separately. If you win a spot you can sponsor your own parents only, if she wins a spot she can sponsor her mom only. You can't combine the apps together so you would both need to win lottery spots.
If you do both win lottery spots you can co-sign each others apps. 2 separate apps, but family size needs to count everyone (you + spouse + 2 parents + 1 parent = 5 people). Income of $100K for past 3 years would easily qualify you.
any one knows how to access the form? i cant seem to find it on IRCC website.its jan 2nd 2018 12:06 est now
