How to get PCC in Canada ?

My dad was in Kuwait and Iraq from 1978 to 1984. How can he get PCCs from these two countries as it has been 35 years since he returned to India? Any suggestions.

I have a bit of a complicated situation and are looking for a suggestion. My wife and I are looking to sponsor my family(2 parents and 2 siblings to Canada). However, our problem is that we only have 2 years of work experience in Canada (before we were students) and our income qualifies only cumulatively based on the charts. Would we need to wait for another year or 2.5 should be enough? Also, if she is cosigning on the application we can sum up our earnings is that correct? My salary is 55000/year, hers is 50000/year.

You and your spouse's combined income each year needs to meet the minimum required income. And this needs to go back 3 years before you submit your interest to apply. So if your income in 2018 and 2019 meets the requirement, and your income in 2020 also meets the requirement, then you can try to apply in 2021. If your income in 2018 doesn't meet the requirement, and income in 2019 - 2021 meets the requirement, then you need to wait till 2022.

Income is evaluted in each years' NOA. You cannot add income for 2 years and average out for the 2 years and said each year would meet the requirement.

Hi seniors,
I have question regarding the additional documents submission. The additional document request letter states submit by mail or email and does not mention about submit through cic account then why do they have slots open on cic account ? I submitted my parents additional docs via mail and email but not cic account and on cic account it shows reviewing the additional documents for a month now but still shows "action required" on cic account and the only think I can see is additional document slots overdue thing. Should I submit through cic account as well ? or shall I ignore it ? has anyone faced the same issue ?

any advice ??

I don't think they will ask you for PCC from Iraq, maybe Kuwait they will.

We submitted notice of re assessment but they asked option C .. still waiting to sponsor approval .

You can include your spouse as co-signer in the application and then use the family income (your+spouse)
However, you can only count the 3 years income from the date you became Permanent Resident.

Are you sure about 3 years since PR?

I have some information on Kuwait, as we got it as well. Its better if you know someone there who can get it for you.

You need to send letter from CIC requesting the PCC, photos with blue background, copy of your old kuwait visa.

I guess if you know someone there, its very quick to get PCC,takes like 2 days.

Are you sure about 3 years since PR?

you need to meet the minimum income requirement for 3 years and be a PR at the time submitting your application. The income is for previous 3 years whether or not you were permanent resident all three years.

Thanks dear. My dad returned from Kuwait to India over 35 years back. He has absolutely no contact/connection there. He has sent an email to Kuwait Embassy in Delhi, but has not received a reply yet. Is there another way) option to get Kuwaiti PCC?

My hubby old company's fault .. hubby co signer so his NOA Needed ..
