When my file will reach London, will i receive 2nd Aor?. or i will not be notified?

@YULIA-2016

I got the sponsor eligibility pass letter today and file will process in cpc - Mississauga .

They have given me IMM1017 Medical instruction letter.
My father did the upfront medical in SEP 2018.
Mother did upfront in May 2018.

What should they do now ? Shall they go to the same clinic and present this letter and ask them to submit the upfront medicals or will they have to go through again ?

For people who got PCC requests can you please tell me if the PCC is requested from last 10 years or since the age of 18 .

Also, does IRCC mentions to get PCC from specific countries such as - India, China, Spain etc or it just says you need to get the PCC from this to this time .. ?

Upload to them by IRCC web form mentioning the information that you had previously medically examined.

Past 10 years.
Yes, if your parents have visited any country other than your home country for more than six months(either in one/multi visits or maybe in past 10 years) then yes this is applicable on them that they need to get the police certificate from that country.

In addition to this, have they visited Canada for more than 6 months

@YULIA-2016 Line 87 on SS
Got Pre Arrival letter on 21 June 2019
Got RCMP Fingerprint request for my Mom only (PA)- 23 June 2019 (even though total stay in Canada is less than 6 mtnhs)
Since my parents are in India- the RCMP fingerprint is a tricky process as RCMP does not accredit anyone outside the country, however after much researching , i found a process to get it done - have copied the steps below from other thread. it is called ink digitization process

1. http://canadianlegal.org/calgary-fingerprinting/ink-to-digital-conversion/ < The charges are $85,
2. Sent an email to debbie@canadianlegal.org & told her that I want to get the fingerprint conversion done. She will guide you more for your queries.

They are certified agency to process fingerprints digitally & transmit to RCMP.
You have to send them the form C216C with your fingerprints + some more documents like Card Scan form etc (mentioned in KIT) - I used FD258 (FBI fingerprint form)

2. Downloaded the instructions document given on the page.

3. Took prints >> went to Fingerprint Bureau office here in Mumbai >> they took the fingerprints on C216C form
After they take the fingerprints they have to sign the C216C form + one more form given in the instructions kit above.
Docs to be carried : passport/2 photos/C216C form/other forms from Kit/ local address proof/ photo ID.

You are done here with Indian Process. Its a 2 day process.

Now, you can courier the documents to Canada or the address given by Debbie.
Once they receive courier & payment, they process the digitization of fingerprints that day only & transmit to RCMP.

My fingerprints were submitted to RCMP on 15th April & I got the certificate on 27th April by Canada Post. (original poster)
So it was a quick process.

Points to be noted :

1. Its upon you whether you want RCMP to send the results to the Agent or directly to you. <I opted to send directly to me which proved correct & I saved 70$ (courier from Canada to India) here, RCMP sent the document by Canada Post & to my surprise, that was delivered in 7 Days to Hyderabad>.
You have to mention in the forms given.

2. RCMP doesn't charge anything if you need the certificate for PR purpose. So you just need to pay for digitization of your fingerprints to the agent which is $85

3. Once you complete the fingerprinting on paper in India i.e. C216C form + other forms, you can send the scanned copy to Debbie for confirmation to ensure the documentation is correct. Then you can send courier to Canada... ( Very interesting and highly recommended- it is like a preapproval of all the documentation before submitting it to be processed and if any errors then they can be rectified before couriering)

4. Prefer Fedex for sending courier..they do home pick up also..It costed me 2950 INR.

5) Always take and extra set of C216C and get the fingerprints on it as well in case something goes wrong - if they ask for just one applicants RCMP then it is still better to get it done for all who have visited Canada so as not to delay the process.

If anyone needs help then feel free to contact me- i submitted scanned copy of the fingerprints, the application forms , copies of govt issued ids and was given all ok, parents will courier the original fingerprints which i can personally take and drop it off at the office.
