Did you fill out the "Use of Representative" form ? This form is optional but, should be filled out if you would like to represent the principal applicant through PR processing. In this case, you can supply your own address (Canadian) as well as email, and will get all correspondence redirected to you. Thanks so much for the update. Just one quick question, My mum is in Canada for last 3 yrs on super visa. But in the application, I gave her address as her local address which is the add of my home country. But current mailing address is my Canadian address. Is it fine? Or should I update her address as my Canadian address? Though Canada office should already know it.
If you haven't filled out that form, and used the home country address then any correspondence sent via snail mail will go to the home country. In my case, all correspondence was over email however.
BTW, you can still fill out the 'Use of Representative" form and send it to IRCC.
