Mine is so slow, my application is processing in NDVO..
The initial assessment to ensure the sponsor iseligible has been finalized on March 29, 2017.
The assessment for the applicant(s) is still in process at the Canadian visa office in New Delhi, India.
the eligibility requirements assessment was finalized on October 26, 2017.
Medical: test done in 22 March 2018

Med expirey date: The results are on file and valid until March 23, 2019 for all applicants.
The criminality verifications are currently valid for all applicants.
The security verifications have been initiated for all the other applicants.
And yes i received this email in june 2018 from NDVO till now they didn't ask me anything like interview or additional document request,
and i don't know whats going on with my application ? im so worry about this even NDVO didn't respones my email no get ppr till yet after medical test its going around 9 month still waiting...

My dad file, no updates!!
Medical has been received August 2018 ( went for medical in June 2018)
background check has not started ( automated message on CIC call center number)

I am assuming and thinking, whose parents are here in Canada on super visa/visitor visa( medical and police clearance done here in Canada itself)- getting PR faster.
My colleague got selected in second round, her file started in February 2018, medical of her mother was done in August 2018. Her mother is now a permanent resident October 2018.

we are in canada as visitors. medical exams here, police certificates from my country.

I have sponsored my parents from Alberta, is it possible if my parents land in a different province say BC or ON and still give my address in Alberta for PR card application and stay for few days and come to Alberta.

I received an email to send an updated form with signatures. using the provided email address, I sent them back the documents but did not get any auto-email confirming the reception of the email. is this normal? I remember previously you would get a confirmation. I am a bit worried as I used an email address not mentioned in my application to respond( gmail mix up!).

has anyone had similar experience?

Sometimes their servers take time to respond something is received or maybe a person has to see first...

What was the signature form? Schedule A? or some other name?

Their request letter says with original signature means hand-write it and signature is not really the focus but the rest of content of that form is important. They want the form re-filled and submitted. For example, they may have seen name mismatch or maybe require history done since 18 years old.

Is your LVO London? Please post your complete timelines.

I got passport request for my parents and have to send passport to Ottawa. With Canada post having strikes, just wondering what other options we have for prepaid envelops for the passports to come back. Have someone used purolator?
