Hi There,

I received the Police certificates request today. I had applied for my parents in the first round. I have 2 questions.

1. Does everyone receiving medical and police certificate requests together or one by one?

2. My Dad is the principal applicant. only his UCID is active till now and showing the status of "APPLICATION RECEIVED". it is not showing any status for my mom, neither does my Mom UCID active till now. How can I confirm if they have included my Mom too in the application as a dependent. as the email requesting police certificate didn't mention anything too.

Hello everyone,

I received a letter from CPC-missisagua that my parents application is getting transferred to CPC-Ottawa for further processing. Here is what it says:

You have met the requirements for eligibility as a sponsor. Accordingly, the Application for Permanent
Residence for your relative has been forwarded to the visa office in CPC-Ottawa for further processing.
This visa office was selected based on your relative’s home address and the requirements of the
Immigration and Refugee Protection Act.

I am the representative for my parents application and I am in toronto. My parents are in Delhi. When the application is getting tranferred to CPC-Ottawa, what does this mean with regard to the police certificates and medical being asked in coming months.

Will the above documents be asked to me here in Canada? or it will be asked directly by New Delhi VO where my parents are?

Online application status is "We have received your application to XYZ on..." but XYZ is my name instead of applicant. I am confused, as why it shows sponsored person name as sponsor instead of main applicant ? Anyone with similar scenario ..

all good, you see your name when you get AOR and applicant name when you get SA

my congrats, 1 step closer, means nothing specific, you will get e-mail or mail from your LVO-Ottawa about Medicine and PCC and you should send all requested docs to Ottawa now

1.Application to sponsor (only 1 form by you)
2.Imm008 (only 1 form by main applicant(your dad) your mom will be mentioned in that form.she doesn't need separate form
3.additional family information and background declaration.these 2 forms will be filled separately by father and mother both.
4.additional dependent form(no need to fill this form if there are no additional dependents)
5.common law declaration(not required in this case)
6.5768 form to be filled by you

I have a situation here.please guide me what should I do.i have prepared everything to apply for my parents sponsorship.but my PR expired Oct 20th.i applied for renewal and it's little more than 2 months but there are no news from cic yet.
What should I do in this situation.apply with expired PR card? And mention that waiting for the new card..p.s. I have also applied for citizenship but that is also in process. And last date to apply PGP sponsorship is Dec 8th

Experts , Need your opinion on two questions - I am sponsoring my Mom and Dad and going through checklist -

- There is NO need of Birth Certificate of my Mom and Dad - Is this correct ?
- I don;t have their marriage certificate and it will be hard to get , I am attaching an explanation letter and Notary attested Affidavit having their photographs on this - Is this sufficient ?

how do you think those guys from 2011-2014 feel?

If 2011 applications are still not approved I would think there must be something wrong. My application is very straightforward but it is still not moving - like everyone else.
