Guys i need your help! Especially thise who have recieved their visas already. Today i got the following mail:

Dear RAIQ ALEEM MUMTAZ,
Visa application, tracking ID No. **** – has been forwarded to the Canada Visa Office ,Lahore on 16/10/2014. An auto e-mail will be generated to inform you when the application is returned and is available for collection at the application Centre,Lahore. Please note this is an auto generated e-mail. Please do NOT reply to this email.

What does this mean?? Please give your insight!!

did u have ur medical? if yes then it is approved most probably and if not then it is 50-50

I also want to raise an issue : there was a terrorist attack at the canadian parliament yesterday....Ottawian police also said that they will request their government to make the immigration laws more strict .....will this effect our applications?

On May 1st, 2010, A car bomb attack on Times Square, New York, USA was prevented. But due to the incident of that level, majority students application to either Canada or USA were refused afterwards.



On the 28th July 2010, UK PM David Cameron issued a statement that Pakistan is Exporting terrorists.....Two things happened the next day after that.....

1. Our then President "Zardari the Clown" went to meet Cameron and he smiled as wide as he could.....I still remember his ugly smile on his face......

2. Due to the tense environment created between the two countries, any student visa cases that were on the review on that day were refused for no reason.....I knew a few boys who got rejected and when they applied with the same docs without changing them again......they got the visa afterwards.

I am following the news since last night. I request all the brothers and sisters to Pray to Allah Al-Mighty, All Knower to grant us success and prevent any delays or refusals......AMEEN

Did you receive any mail from CIC? Have you already provided the passport to the embassy?

yesterday the television quoted that canadian are seeing this event on the background of arab terrorism, dnt want to elaborate this on this forum bt its highly probable that we might b the first victims

Congrats. You need to route your passport through VFS lahore. You may contact them and they will assist you. When did you file for the visa and when you had your medical?
