    By the new rules you are already entitled to 20hrs/week work. You can go get it the same day as you arrive. Its just a piece of paper. It takes barely 5 minutes.

    Hey guys. Sorry for the late reply. Winnipeg is super cold at this time. And in jan it will go as far as -40 or more so pack your warmest clothes. And try to bring your own pillows and quilts.     Its a hassle free process. I got mine the day next to my arrival. Which state are you in? You just need your study permit, passport and letter of acceptance.

    There is no such thing guys. I had to wait 49 to days for medical call and had my medical after 2 months of applying. And i got the visa. You never know how much time it will take. Just be patient

    Are you really worried about not getting a medical call in 9 days? Look around. Everyone here waits months for it bro. You need to prepare yourself. Cuz its a LOOONG road ahead.

    If you defer your course, you are required to send the new LOO to the embassy since your visa dates/validity depends on your courses end date.

    I applied for the visa paper based on 27 July 2014. I got a medical call on 13 September. I had my medical on 24 september. And my visa was approved on 11 November.
