Congrats. You need to route your passport through VFS lahore. You may contact them and they will assist you. When did you file for the visa and when you had your medical?

About the passport, just give VFS a visit & tell 'em about the request form CIC, They'll take & send your passport along with your bio-metrics to CIC ...

Yes you receive system generated email whenever there is new message in your mycic account. So one doesn't need to check the account on regular basis..
