yes, u need to apply for equivalency.. my husband is electrical engineer and u need to have degree from an accredited uni on list of engineering canada website.. means has to be bsc, whereas my husband has btech.. once equalized its too long to get equivalent engineering degree, i have founf 3-4 semester diploma for husband to start that career here from level 1 again... if any help ask me as i have applied his..handsup said:ahan what effects affordability? like what you want us to buy from home country that is expensive in CA?
one more question regarding docs: Should I take me edu docs too with me? I am software engineer; would I need an equivalence degree letter there in CA if I try to do some short courses etc? and what are the job requirements ?
in ontario, if u have a license with 5+ yrs experience in pk u can give g1, g2 and g one after another... i know this for a fact...mrashid123 said:Yes.... that's true.... but 3 months is not long enough to get a full driver's license in Ontario... it can take up to 3 years.... u start off with G1 then go up to G2 after 1 year n finally G after another year... unless u have a license from back home n u've had it for more than a year... in this case u can get an exception to the one year wait between G1 and G2.... while u have G1.... u cannot drive by ur self n must b accompanied by a fully licensed G driver with atleast 5 years of driving experience....
Honestly.... driving a car back home is easy.... u just have to have enough money to buy the car.... In Canada that's not the case at all.... its very expensive to own and operate a car
thanks, my gold is worth way more than 10k.. :'( i guess i cant bring all, dont want husband to have issue he is coming here first time..handsup said:T_imtia
