Grats! Still waiting for ours to come back. Say they shipped it on June 16... still nothing. I am hoping tommorrow. Did IOM notify you to come pick it up?

So weird, says shipped from Singapore on the 12th and we still have heard nothing. It only took 1 day to get back your passport.

Emailed IOM to get an update. They better not have lost the passport

Thanks dnguy, me and wife call every day and try to yahoo video every day. It makes it a lot more bearable. We need passport back, so I can book flight dates

From Saigon, I told my wife that the passport was shipped on the 16th, I can't believe that she had the passport in her hand on the 17th and sent me picture of the ever so nice Canada Visa on it...

Finally, my wife got the call yesterday to pick up her passport! Flying back on June 27 then coming back on July 4! Good luck everyone and stay strong.

Congratulation Dragoon, after very long process this is it!

TIP#1: Just make sure that your return to Canada with her plane itinerary does not transit to a place that requires a visa to enter like the US or something otherwise she will not be able to transit. If you go with EVA, Cathay Pacific or Air China you should be fine

TIP#2: I know you already bought your tickets but maybe mention to them that the second passenger (your wife) is a new immigrant with new visa to Canada and some compagnies have discount price for them like Cathay Pacific has very low price for these type of person since it is only a one way ticket

We are landing in Vancouver, so it's all good. Booked flight with China Airlines since it's half the price of Cathay Pacific. I don't even know why CP is always double the price of CA.
