Congrats guys! Great news for you!
Man, Meds done in March, PPR in June :o they CAN be quick when they want to!

I have noticed that but thought maybe journey2010 means march 2010 !!!! ::)

Congratulations for the medicals and then the PPR.
That is amazing! at least there are some success stories to lift everyone else's spirits.

I sent my email to CPP-O last night (as always, I CCd the London office too, you never know). I tried to instigate a sense of urgency due to the 48 days left. I reminded them that those days include the Visa Stampig process and me trying to organise my trip there.

I pretty much ask for an outcome and reasons for the delay. I am not expecting much, maybe a standard reply. I will share when I know.

Good luck to the rest.

Congratulations, Journey 2010 and Shiraz 1971.
And I followed Shiraz 1971 example and had send case inquiry to CPP-Ottawa today ( my previous inquiry was asked 8 weeks before).
Let us wait for their answers.
Good luck for Edupolo and M+JM.

congrats guys for the PPR and medical request, wishing edupolo and mjm hope u guys get ur PPR at the earliest ,next in the forum.all the best.

Thanks Lina-Ida and ramuk for the encouragement. We too have emailed London just in case. Though our case isn't quite as urgent as edupolo's, we are just 3 months before the end of our medicals and we still have no idea what the QA process involves and how long it might take...

Congratulations to Journey2010 & Shiraz1971, its great news :D

I think i'll email them and try to find out what the QA process is as well, will let you know guys.

best of luck to all.

yes, thank you for your encouragement.
Just got a one line reply from Ottawa saying they will send a follow up to their medical office in London.
We will see. I will email them back on Monday.

Good Luck

Guysssssssssssssssssssssss

Guess what !!!!!! I just checked my e-cas and the following message was there:

We started processing your application on June 6, 2011.
A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

It has been 11 months since I have submitted all the documents..
Experts and seniors please tell me what does this exactly mean? Does it mean I will get my medical soon or it could be more documents might be required ?? How soon can I hear from them, from your experience ???

Osama

OsamaR,
by my humble opinion, better ask for CAIPS, contact your consultant, if any, and send case specific inquiries to CHC london and CPP-O.
Seniors and experts, we need your advice and guidelines.

Hi Osama,

We have received our medical request last week and was dated 3rd week of May 2011. Our ECAS has still these details:

"We received your application on September 2007

We started processing your application on March 2011"

Hope this can help.

Regards

What do they mean, "started processing your application in March/June 2011" ???
I think for us the start date given on ECAS was a couple of weeks after they received our initial application, i.e. October 2007.
Is this a new trick to tweak their figures to be able to report that applications are now processed in less than a year?
Anyway hope this means great news for you soon!!

hai everybody
Really i could not beleive it , i yesterday received a email from ottawa to submit my passports to london chc for visa stamping, really it happened after a long wait,,,,,,hoping this to happen for others also. wishing all , all the best.

bye

Hey (congrats Ramuk),
I also finally got the request for passports after a very painful wait. We are over the moon although now we need to act fast and get the Bank Cheque in Canadian Dollars for the RPRF fee ($490 each). They did send my email with a code that I should show the receptionist so that she know that it is a urgent case.
Thank you all for the support. At least my case proves to the rest of you that all our cases will be finalised before medicals expire (even if it is very close to it... 47 days in my case). I will let you know what happens once I go to the High Commission, which will have to wait until I am back in the UK.
And in case Ahmadtajwer reads this, I will hopefully not come across the rude receptionist you got as I am planning to bring my bank cheque with me along with passports and pictures. Nowehere in my email it says that the RPRF Fee has to be sent before submitting passports.... we will see.
