Unfairsystem,

I did my medicals in London with Knightsbridge Doctors near Harrods. They were really good. I also did my furtherance tests with them and they were really prompt. One of the secretaries is a bit moody but you just need to remind her that she needs to enjoy her job ;-) The doctors are great and you can do x-rays at the same time in the same office.

Good News at last.

I have got the request for medicals today.
My details are as follows.

Applied : OCT 2007
Documents Requested : march 2010.
Documents send : June 2010.
Medicals requested : 27 May 2011.

Actually 10 months after submitting my documents was on 10th March 2011 & i was wondering what was happening & now i got the medicals request.

So i hope that all of the Ottawa transfered applicants who have submitted the documents & thier 10 months have expired should be getting thier medicals request very soon.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH redindian22 for sharing this great news with us.

My details are pretty much similar to yours, and my 10 month after submitting all documents was on May 2011. So hopefully based on your details I am expecting to receive my medical sometime within 2 months !!

Thanks again redindian22 and good luck on the remaining part :)

Guys, I hope everyone is fine, was out of touch for a bit as was moving home. It's all done now. Not very good news here in this thread, what's happening, they only issued few PPRs and thought they are done for this year?

Wish you all a very good luck and may it all gets resolved for you guys shortly.

Got my account opened, SIN card sorted, Driving licence sorted, actively looking for job now, please do pray for me too guys.

Hi Tajwer,

Yes, not much movement here lately. I am waiting until next Wedneday to send an email back to Ottawa, since they told me that they would follow up about my additional tests after two weeks.

We will see, I used to do the countdown for my medicals to expire in months, then I went down to weeks, and now it is only 56 days for my medicals to expire!

Hi Edupolo,

Good to hear from you, not very good news though. I hope everything works out for you guys soon and I hope you don't have to redo the meds, fingers crossed...

We hope so, too, but then we don't know what to expect, and that's the worst...
Anyway, good luck to you in Canada, Ahmad, and may we join you soon :)!

Unfairsystem,

The Doctor asks for your GPs details and in our case they verified with them that our medical history matched what we put down in their files. I guess this is random because in many cases they do not check with GP, but I think that ours is very thorough and wanted to make sure he had all the information.

I guess normally they don't. In rear cases yes. In my case they didn't ask for GP details nor did they verified those with GP.
