hi all, I am back. Reading all your replies making me think that this Ottawa thing is getting insane. This quality review is something that no one understands and i take as an excuse to prolong or delay procesing on your files. I hope everything works out for you guys.

I landed here in Toronto on 2nd May.... it was smooth landing and no problems what so ever. Finding Canada lot beautiful and parking and driving here isn't a big problem. I have written my detailed landing experience in new thread. I'll copy that here too soon. Good luck to all those waiting.

mabrooook:)
enjoy it and hopefully all of us will join you sometime in the near future..

Good Luck bro

Thanks for that summer ss2can_Oman.
I just got back from my trip in Germany and it was amazing! it sure made me forget about Canada for 10 days!
I still haven't got any response from neither Ottawa nor London office about my furtherance tests. I keep reminding them that I only have 9 weeks left before they medicals expire and that I have adhered to their deadlines and that they should do the same, especially after spending £800 pounds just for the medicals + furtherance alone... I am not ready to spend money on another medical, which would make me look quite stupid, since it means I just threw away £800.
As you can see, it does not take long afte a holiday to be frustrated again ;-)
Will keep you posted if I hear anything.
How r u all doing anyway? it looks like it has bee kinda quiet around this forum.

hi

I have been asked to provide past six months statements to CPP-O Office. They have mentioned as below. Should I provide original or photocopies of statements? They asked after 10 months time.

Please note:
All documents must be accompanied by English or French translations. When original documents are requested, notarised documents are not acceptable.

Hi, Unfairsystem.
Did CPP-Ottawa ask for 6 months bank statesments?
May be you meant some other documents, I didn t understand what kind of statesments you were asked.
Can you kindly explain.

For the moment there are only 13 names listed as Ottawa applicants.
Indeed, are we the last remaining persons in Ottawa group of applicants?
May God help us to get PPrs as soon as possible.

@ Lina-Ida, in my previous post, I had listed the applicants who have sent Medicals and waiting for PPR only. Has your 10 months lapsed. if so have you mailed cppo.

Best Wishes to all.

Yes, my 10 months after submission of documents were fullfilled on 15-th April,
and on 10-th April I did send enquiry.
Answer from CPP-O revealed, that file is still in process and within normal processing timelines.
Some more patience and good news, I believe, will come to all of us.

As I see it, 12 of us i.e. Edupolo, M+JM , marvstin, grouvy, Lina-Ida, ericznet, godwilling , Psychosibes ,Ramuk, Camerwell, canada74 and I are awaiting PPR after Medicals. But it is sometime since grouvy, ericznet, godwilling, psychosibes, Ramuk, Camerwell and canada74 communicated in discussion. Plz update your status.

Best wishes to all

Hi everyone,

I am still [patiently] waiting for PPR...

hey guys,
I just saw we had 999 posted comments and I wanted to be the one to post the 1,000th comment.
Nothing to do with the Immigration process but I thought it is a big milestone for this thread.
Thank you everyone for all your help and comments.

Hi Guys!...Today I have received my passport back, which I sent on 4th April, with visa stampped on it....Finally this long wait has come to an end!

Hi All,

I'm not sure if this is old news, but I was shocked to see it, they have changed the processing time for London applicants from 45 months to 49months, (Applications received BEFORE February 27, 2008) :O, maybe its more realistic given how late they are for everyone anyways, it certainly doesn't make anyone happy.

Congratulations to all who got their Passports back with Visas :) and wish the rest of us get the visa soon.
