Mine is NJ too. Same as Vensak. So we have NJ & KD. Anyone else with other initials? We can make our list of initials and check in other HCPS threads whether it's the same officers. This way, we might know if the processing for HCPS & French stream is in the same queue. However it will be a different story if AOR officer and processing officer are not the same

Mine is KD

For me it's (LS).

I think we have different case officers... and I don't know whether they are working on the Human Core Priorities Stream :'(

If that is not the case, then they could have processed our application... Let's hope for the best to come very soon...

OK, so at very least we know that they do not have candidates geographicaly distributed (seeing as 2 people from the same region got different officers).

An it is also not profession distributed (same officer has rather different professions)

So looks more like timeline distributed (how they empty their table).

Hi All,

I think all french speaking stream applicants who are registered in the excel sheet of Damocles should update us if they are still online on this thread so we can track the files processing and specially the applicants who got the AOR in Aug, because i believe that they should receive requests from OINP these days.

For example moekay89 did't update us if he/she got the AOR or not, even-though only few members are active on this thread!

Have a good day all :)

App. 20% of OINP Human priorities applicants are sharing on this forum. So that would be also app. sample in the French stream. I would even say more, because of the tricky part, where you have to put your French as first language in order to get PT.
So by best guess there are like 200 - 300 French stream applicants there by max.

In year 2016 they have more than 7000 applications. Human capital and Master graduates alone can make up to 6000 of those application. (you can see some people from march were mentioning AOR number 6000+). These days they are asking for additional data from applicants between 4000 and 6000 and those below 4000 are already nominated or close to be nominated.

Seeing their speed so far, I would estimate, that French stream will be processed somewhere January - February next year. But then I think, that all will be fast.

So far we have NJ, LS & KD in the French stream. I seem to notice that these initials are not present in the other HCPS threads. Maybe I'm wrong. I'll try to pay more attention to the initials now.

I didn't get any initials :'(

Recheck the e-mail. Those initials are in the subject of the mail, either the first starting letters or at the end of the subject. Those are the officer initials, so that they can later forward mails to the correct officer.

No initials for me. I think it is because it was not the officer who sent me the AOR. It was to me mid November but my AOR was generated end of October. It was upon my request that they sent it.

I have just recieved AOR from Ontario. So following all those advices was worth. I also know that they do accept those bank cheques.
Damocles, if you can update my date by following: File was recieved in Ontario 9.11.2016 and AOR recieved 24.11.2016. Thank you

Congrats vensak! See, 3 weeks and no mail brings AOR on a snail 8)

I guess, that they have just forgotten them (it can happen). If ever you will get additional documents request you will see those initials again.

On more general note.

They do have file ogranisation which is following:

XXXX - YYNNNNN

First 4 letters will identify following:
1. if the application goes through EE system (I am more like guessing this) - X for EE applicants and something else for others
2. Type of the stream within EE (Human capital - H or French stream - F)
3. Type of applicant according the old system (FSW - SW or CEC - EC)

So in our stream you would have either XFSW or XFEC

Then next 2 digits are for the year and last 5 digits for the position in the queue in that year.

That way you cannot have to applicants that would have same digits after their stream identification.
This way you can identify both streams and substream and also the time when application was recieved.

By now the queue numbers are already above 7000. And they already went above 6000 in March.
Their yearly quota is 5500 applications, so they are already good amount above it.
On the top of that they were also dealing with candidates from November onwards (which is additional 2000 to 3000 applications).
So no wonder why are they slow in nomination. all their 2016 quota was reached with January applicants. They have actually got enough application to fill most of the year 2017.
With this logic, they will most likely remain closed for any bigger streams next few months. I am estimating, that they may reopen March or April next year to take additional bigger batches.

Thanks a lot,

Just for curiosity, if you are also female (that is the only similarity that I have seen for NJ officer applicants so far).

Nope, I'm a dude.

Do you think that they assign certain officers to certain genders? Ex: NJ for females like you've pointed out?
Sounds not very likely to me, but again I have no idea to be honest.
