You should be ok there. However you can only create your profile once you have done your ECA as well (at least for you as main applicant).

1. Do ECA - with your statement I am assuming that in worse case it will be evaluated as Bac+4 (4 years university studies), which is acceptable for Ontario
2. Put French as your first languagge, make sure that you put your English with CBL 6 or higher as well as second language
3. Tick Ontario as region where you want to reside
4. Wait for letter of notification directly on EE account. If such letter will not arrive within 1 week after your account becomes fully activated (after connecting to the job bank), recreate EE profile (there was the time when there was some technical problems with profile and some were invisible even if you met the criteria).

But with what you state you should have no problem to get Ontario PT NOI (provintial teritorial notification of interest). After that follow next steps as described on their website and this forum.

Hi Sofiane,

Happy to see you among us. hope everything will be smooth for you.

Unfortunately, I'll not be of a great help as I'm not living in Algeria since long, so I cannot answer specific questions like the ones you are asking. However, I recommend to have an account with a foreign currency (euro, pound, dollar) to avoid surprises.

For the second question, you need to plan differently, for example trying to find someone who can do it on your behalf from Canada. I also heard that payment will become online soon.

Thanks,

Salam Superfly,

As Algerian compatriot, I would like to consult you about some specific stuff to our country:

1- Concerning POF, Is enough to send my bank statements in DZD (BEA bank for exampl) and what is the meaning of ''Transit and institution number of the bank''
2- Concerning application fees, how did you proceed to send the 1500 CAD, is it possible to perform this kind of bank transaction in our country?

Its will be great if you can share with me your phone nbr or e-mail, so we can maybe meet and discuss about proceedure while drinking a good coffe.

Thanks in advance

It could be also that there are officers dedicated to process applicants from specific regions in the world as they have more experience and can do better assessments of the files. it is just a guess but I strongly believe they are doing it.

You can check in LinkedIn for Immigration Officers in Ontario and could be lucky and find the one taking care of your file. however, I'm not sure what value this will add. ;)

So if it's different for us all, it means we will be assessed by different officers then...

I don't know if there are specific officers for French Stream... ::)
and what they are doing right now... :D
they could have processed our apps quickly... ;D

If your bank does bank cheque you can use that one instead. Attention not personal cheque.

Hello everybody,

I have an urgent inquiry concerning how to pay Ontario application fee, I asked one of my friend to it on my behalf in France, and the only way to do it there is to send Postal Money Order using ''La Banque Postale'', so could you please let me know if I can go ahead and let him do it that way, if anybody used this method of payment please advise.

Thanks

I have seen somebody that tried to use that way of payment but the application was rejected and the person had to use different way of payment.
So recheck other possibilities.

Good luck for the rest

I was wondering if the files numbers of French speaking stream are following the same number sequence of Human Capital Stream files. If that is true, we can say that our files might move in 90 days as promised, but if the files of French speaking stream are NOT following the same number sequence of Human Capital Stream, then I guess our files might take time because the priority today is to clear the backlog of the Human Capital Stream.

I’m Sharing this with you, because I’ve realized that most applicant of Jan/Feb are receiving TODAY requests for additional documents from OINP, however most of them have got their AOR in July and August, and an AOR indicates when CIC or OINP has received the application and has issued a case file number for the application submitted.

So the countdown of the nomination process starts from the day they received the AOR, and not from the day they submitted the application.

From what I have seen on comment on others they have somehow double system.
Your File number as such follows the general order in which applications were recieved. However somewhere at the beginning or at the end they have also type of stream coding. If I remember somebody was mentioning F in the file number for french speakers and H for human stream.

As for the 90 days do not count on that - they do not keep that anymore. Good news is only that they are finally moving with the application. And even better is that the amount of french speakers is much much lower compared to the main stream.
