Yes from what i could understand the FSW backlog PNP nominees will get expedited processing. I feel OWP route and PR route should not make a difference of more than 4 to 5 months as per as New Delhi is concerned.

sorry but i did not get your point , I think there is a difference in processing time in both cases ( PR vs OWP) ,for instant, if we are talking about newdelhi visa office, it would take about 10 months to process the PR while it takes only one month to issue the OWP ,please correct me if I am wrong

Understanding is correct PR processing will take a maximum of 10 months if documents are fine. OWP will issued in 1 month only.

that is why they decided to issue OWP in our case ,to fasten the process and accordingly we can start working there to cover the shortage in some NOCs in Ontario

Actually Delhi VO claim maximum time is 10 months, I have noticed that some people even got their PR in 6 months . So for you I can say June/July, worse case will go Sep

But now I think, if they are going through the extra work of issuing the suport letters then they do expect a significant difference in PNP and OWP cases. Probably the difference is not significant from New Delhi perspective but definately for other places. I've seen some places take more than 17 months to process PNP but take 2 months to process OWP.

So, to answer my own question: it may be worth the hassel.

I myself have not seen what all needs to be done or where the forms are etc. Too busy with office work.

I got my WP support letter by DHL today morning. It's just interesting that I haven't received my AOR yet but I got my support letter for WP.Ontario is really fast.Now I don't have any clue what I should do for the rest.any advice?
