Yes understanding is correct. Even if you submit your application it will take 2-3 months to get MR, if you are expecting the baby in mean time, then update CIC about new dependent. Good Luck

Its for all Provincial Nominees Identified Through the Federal Skilled Worker (FSW) Backlog Reduction Pilot not for just Ontario.. please check bulletin for more details

Hi,
Why everone is talking about ontario pnp, not for other provinces. In adddition, i called to Manitoba PNP office and the lady dealing to immigration told me that its not their subject and work permits are issued by the government. When i asked her about the Bulletin 470, she answered that she has not heard anything about that.

Can someone please comment on it. I really need some response.

Thanks and regards.

HI Malisa,
I think that you do not have to worry , it is quit clear that we are on the same boat , all new decisions made by CIC does not speak on a specific provience , but speaking in general for all FSW nominated as PNP as part of the backlog reduction pilot ,I faced the same issue when I called Ontario office to ask about the WP and the lady's reply was that she has no clue , but it is so abvious now as official site of CIC announced it in Bulletin 470 , so be Patient I think it is only a matter of time ,good luck

Thanks Hardeel for your detailed reply!

Thanks for your guidance.

Hey Guys,

Those who have received their support letters, can you please share what is the content of the letter? What does it say?

Also, is this really helpful? like what is expected processing time of the OWP application? I saw the CIC and it says 1 month for OWP in New Delhi. And it says 10 months for PNP PR application. But few people are saying PNP PR will not take more than 5-6 months. So, I was wondering, is OPW really worth the hassle?

PNP time line is 11 Month, PPR is now going on for Jan 2012 applicants, I am May 2012 applicant but till today.........waiting and look for other PNP timeline.

But I believe our "red stickers" will get us expedited PRs? I doubt whether we need to wait for the normal SLA. The current PNP processing times at Detroit office is 17 months.

Yes from what i could understand the FSW backlog PNP nominees will get expedited processing. I feel OWP route and PR route should not make a difference of more than 4 to 5 months as per as New Delhi is concerned.
