Hi Guys

I am still confused about how to apply for a WP for my husband ? should I fill the form IMM 1295E Twice ,one for me and for my husband ??

Hi Hadeel,
You have to submit 1295 form and family information form for your husband separately, if you want to apply work permit visa for him as well. On the other hand if you want only temporary visa for him u have to submit only TRV form.

Yes, as per the inputs given to me by the VFS center in Mumbai. But im not sure whats the exact seq of activities. From what i could re-collect the support agent from VFS mentioned "CIC may release your passport with the request for medicals". He also adviced to get it done in advance to reduce the delay

I'm not sure if medicals can be done in advance. Last all 3 times when we did our WP, we received a letter from CIC requesting medicals after the visa was approved. We had to then take an appointment with one of the labs specified in that letter. This letter had to be carried along when we went for medicals. Medical reports are sent directly to CIC. After medicals we received our visa stamped passports. This process approx. takes 3 weeks.

I read some where in the CIC website that medicals can be done in advance. Will check and paste the link.
Also i called the VFS http://www.vfs-canada.co.in/contactus.html and they also advised to get it done before rather than waiting for
CIC to ask.

It would be gr8 to have it done in advance. How do we know what tests we need to do in medicals? Any idea from where we can have this info? VFS??

As I am applying the WP to Amman visa office in Jordan ,they did not ask for medical , do you think it is required by some visa offices only but not all ??

Same here. I am still undecided as well. OWP processing time from Pakistan may vary from 16 weeks (as per CHC Islamabad website) up to 9 months (as per CIC website). Whereas I've read on some other forums here that PR applications at CHC London are being processed quickly (as early as 10 months) although CIC mentions 21 months for CHC London. There is too much overlap in these timelines and am not sure if OWP will be worth the hassle. I will probably wait for AOR from CIO and London to get an idea about expected PR timeline before making a decision on OWP.

I have got AOR about 1 and half month ago from CIC after that no update yet by LVO after AOR............

I agree. Even my visa office didn't ask me for the medicals and i strictly follow the checklist.

i have few questions please any one answer that if possible...

0) can any one please give me the most updated version of check list from CIC link?
1) what back should be used for photos..white or blue?
2) in check list , it is mentioned please refer STEP NUMBER 3 for fee payment...please share the link from where i can refer it....
3) how can i insert my and my family names in urdu in pdf becoz?
4) in TRAVEL FORM....it is mentioned that if you did not travel anywhere please check the checkbox...but there is a box for writing the name of dependents aged 18 and over...it is ok i will check the checkbox that we never travelled but my 2 sons are under 18 ,how could i write their names in those box becoz those box are for aged 18 or over.......got my point?
5) in nominee certificate from ONTARIO...which one must be sent?...original certificate which has a stamp of Copy.. or i should send a copy of it....?
6) what is written about IELTS in check list...i think we should send the copy of Ielts result which we passed and sent to ONTARIO in MAY 2012?
