I have W2 also but I worried about experience letter. I also get 1099 income sometime on bench... should i send 1099 also as my W2 salary is low. CIC reject my application if no experience letter.... I am worried as I am on bench now.... I cannot tell sponsor to give employment letter.

Just provide them with the W2 it will prove that you are working with your company i guess you can also present I-797/I-94 as a prof of employment and for the experience letter hmmm ;) ........ And when you got it all submit it to right away Canadian PR is with in your reach.

Please approach the HR of your firm and request the issuance of employment verification/experience letter. Why cant an H1-B employee ask for experience letter? Its your right that you ask and its your right that be issued the same by your employer.

If CIC has asked for it we will have to provide it to them, they may/will not understand any reason why an employer would not issue such a letter. Good luck my friend, i think you must confidently ask your employer to issue you a letter. Please do not let your employer throw a wrench in your immigration process

Sir I like your advice. I wish I can do that but there is no HR department. It is one owner company and if I talk about refrence letter I will be without job. I am already on bench from two months but he give half salary. I want tell him that I am doing second plan for Canada.

Got it. I just sent you a PM. Good Luck

No need to write anything on photo.
I copied the height/color requirement into a Word doc, filled it, and attached that to the rest of the docs.

Hi Manny,
I took out printout of the email and it has a place to mention height and eye color of all in the family.I think that is the only place or you putting it back of photo ?

Hi Manny,

How are you planning to send it ? What size of envelopes and which service are you choosing ? i.e.,Fedex,Express Mail etc. and how many of them ?

Hi all,
Is there anyone who landed in Canada on the West coast - in Vancouver? I see most folks landed thru Michigan or Penn. and am unable to see who did this on the West Coast. Please PM or post link here. Thanks!

On the visa stamping:
I went in person to LA consulate and got the visas. It is a simple and pleasant experience.
Went in the morning at about 9.30 am. Took less than 20 minutes in total time to give the docs. & passports (park in Star parking at 6th and S Hope - you can pay $3/15 minutes)
Went back at 2.30 to pick up and took a total of 30-40 minutes and got the passports back.

Hello Manny,
Thats awesome that you got PR visa on same day. This information is really usefull.
I read on this forum somewhere that it still take at least 5 days to get PR visa even if you go personally?
