Hello Guys,

Do not send me private emails if I didn't allow you to do so, because I will not answer your messages and it is just a waist of time for you if you wanted a rush answer. Put your posters on the thread anyone or myself will answer your questions. Thanks for your understanding.

- During this time, we are not yet married but she have already applied for PR as she is already eligible to apply.
2.We started processing your application on October 28, 2013.
- On December 2013, we decided to get married so that both of us can be processed for Permanent residence, fees and forms have been submitted as well.
3.Medical results have been received.
- Medical results have been received , this is around Feb 2015. It took so long due to there is some complications on my chest X-ray and i have to undergo medications.

4.We sent you correspondence on November 2, 2015. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required.

- I have already done the re assessment and everything looks positive and I'm healthy btw.

I think from here we are now also part of the waiting game again. do you guys have similar case? how long will it take for them to grant the DM? what processes are still on-going from here?

Any response will be appreciated, thank you guys!

Hi bushgirl,

You don't need to worry about anything, CIC knows when to contact you regarding your expired documents. Your timeline is not that old, you have more months to go before your file is finalized.

Sincerely,

thank you Eagle

Good day Eagle333,

We received your application for permanent residence on March 16, 2015.
We started processing your application on May 13, 2015.
Medical results have been received.

Below I posted some notes from GCMS printed on October 14:

I THINK EVERYTHING IS DOING WELL BUT NOT SURE ABOUT SECURITY/CRIMINALITY CHECK. THE FILE WAS LOCK ON MARCH 16, 2015 WHEN THE KID WAS 17 YEARS OLD AT THAT TIME (PRINCIPAL APPLICANT IN PHILIPPINES SPONSOR BY HIS MOTHER IN CANADA) AT THAT TIME NBI POLICE CLEARANCE WAS NOT REQUIRED BECAUSE HE WAS UNDER 18 SO IT WAS NOT INCLUDED IN THE FILE. NOW THE KID TURNED 18 ON SEPTEMBER AND TOLD HIM TO GOT HIS NBI POLICE CERTIFICATE OUT AND READY TO MAIL IT IN CASE CEM ASK IT. YET CEM DID NOT REQUEST IT. I RECEIVED COA ON OCTOBER 22 SO IT MIGHT BE CLOSED TO THE DM.
DO YOU THINK IT'S BETTER TO SEND THE NBI CERTIFICATE WHITOUT THE REQUEST OR THIS IS NOT NECESSARY AT THIS POINT ?

I just found from another post this statement coming from a Visa officer:

"""You must submit original police certificates from each country where have lived for 6 or more months in a row since age 18"""

Then, it should be ok I think in my case. The kid just turned 18 in September.

Hi Eagle333,

I have a question that's a little off topic.. but I need your opinion or advice.
Let's say if the PA's passport is expiring and gets a new passport during this period while the sponsorship is ongoing.. once he gets a new passport does he have to send a new copy of the passport to the visa office??

Hi WidnesPR,

There are visible signs that you have a very good and promising exchange with your visa office. If you have not receive PPR expect it before this month end or beginning of next month. I don't see an interview coming but what I see is a PPR coming or a shiny sticker in your PPT in case it was requested already. Your timeline is old and ready for approval in few weeks. Let me know how it goes.

Best Regards
Thank you Eagle for your time ...

I sure hope the end is near and they don't require any more information .... I want to celebrate Christmas with this not on my mind

Hi Eagle333:

This thread seems interesting. Recently My eCas changed to "In Process" and shows as under:

We received your application for permanent residence on September 30, 2013.
We started processing your application on October 2, 2013.
Medical results have been received.

What do you think? They have not yet informed me about the interview although their last GCMS note mentioned "Interview Recommended" in late 2014. One year gone without informing me about the recommended interview! I will be getting another GCMS note by the end of November.

I got your email Tony. I believe my First email pointed out to the reasons as to why they want to talk to you face to face. About what you said in your second email you can shoot them an email and see if it will reverse their decision.

Good Luck
