OINP Sept 21st Application yet not confirmed receipt from OINP

This is questionable. I have completed 90 days of processing period already. I am at their mercy when they will issue me this certificate. I expect in Jan fingers crossed.

Update my marital status in July, 2015
Got the Nomination Certificate Aug 11, 2015

Sent my complete application to CIC S.N ..... Sep 14, 2015
Received acknowledgement from CIC .... Dec 18, 2015

Guys, are any of you planning to apply through express entry?

Laura you could not choose by yourself if you want to apply using Express Entry (EE) or the usual process (directly to CIC). It would be mentioned in your nomination certificate if you are asked to go by Express Entry route.

In all the cases I have seen the nominee apply directly to the CIC not getting into the EE hassle.

This is as per my understanding I am not sure if I am correct but this is something that I recollect from a seminar I attended, organized by PNP officials.

I know that they process it faster if you apply through EE. But I am also not sure if we can just create a profile online and state that we have a nomination to increase the score...

As I told earlier they would instruct you if they feel you HAVE to go by EE route. Usually they say apply to CIC which is the normal method.

Well PS is right....It's mentioned on the certificate....well what I believe EE is an additional step to make a profile then again province nominate you out of all the certificate holders.....well I was exempted from that step....even in my certificate it has clearly mentioned that "you will benefit from CIC's expedited processing stream". Please note that this nomination is not valid for CIC's EEP....fingers crossed

Program Update: Temporary pause on OINP “base” stream applications

Annual provincial nomination targets are determined by the Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC). The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) received a base stream allocation of 2,500 nominations for 2015.

OINP has exhausted its base stream allocation for 2015, and the program is unable to issue further nominations under its base streams until January 4, 2016. If you have already submitted an application to the OINP but have not yet received a decision, your application will be finalized in 2016.

If your employer pre-screen application has been approved, the OINP will continue to accept the corresponding nominee application(s) under the Foreign Worker and International Student with a Job Offer streams.

Between November 16th, 2015 and January 3, 2016, the program will not accept any new Employer pre-screen applications or applications under the Master’s and PhD streams. Any applications received during this time period will be returned to the applicant. The program welcomes new applications under these streams starting on January 4, 2016.

I have applied through Express Entry to CIC and i got PT/INterest letter from OINP under Human Capital.
I am about to submit the documents as per process to OINP.
I have two questions regarding with,
PROOF OF FUNDS,
I am from India and showing CAD 17638/- with single dependant. I have a Bank certification letter(Got 1week days back) and Fixed Deposit Statement received while starting the FD.
In the IMMI Form, there is an option to select Current Bank Certification letter and Fixed Deposit Statement.

Should i select both Current bank Certification Letter as well, as i am submitting Bank certification letter stating FD balance?

Should i write Name, DOB and Express Entry Number on each and every proofs/documents ?
