you think they gonna nom people during Christmas

I'm pretty sure that by end of November most of January applicants will get their nomination. OINP is working on both Nov and Dec applicants.

Be positive.

As additional documents request, along with Proof of Funds, OINP is also asking for "Intent to Reside" in Ontario/Canada and proof to prove that you have applied and searching for jobs in Canada.

1. Write a letter to explain your "intent to reside" in Ontario.
2. Write an explanation letter to prove that you have been searching and applying jobs on regular basis.
  • Take a PDF print directly from your email (gmail, hotmail etc) to prove that you have subscribed different job portals in Canada.
  • Take printouts of auto-replies from companies where you have applied the job recently (consider last one month in account).
  • Take screenshots from job portals from where you have applied jobs.

You do not need to mention all the jobs you have applied. Also, Do make sure you are showing only those jobs which lies in your domain.

If one has not started job hunting already then it is high time to start.

I believe OINP office just want you to show that you are seriously planning to get a job and settle in Ontario. Don't worry about whether there is a company replying you, giving you an interview or an offer. You just need to take the first step, search jobs and apply jobs. By this way, you use your action to convince them you are an right candidate for Ontario nomination. Good luck!

Friends, have been trying to update spouse new passport details on ee profile. Unable to. Any feedback here will help. Thanks, Rajiv

Hello all
A small query. As many of you are getting ECA request to be shared online, is that required for primary applicant Only or for spouse also. Plz confirm

I agree. OINP seems to be really picking up the pace.

It is mandatory that the PA should order a copy to be sent to OINP directly. I don't think it is mandatory for your spouse but if you are claiming points for spouse education, then I highly recommend that you order a copy of your spouse's ECA to be sent to OINP too.

Good morning! My representative (immigration lawyer) told me that you only need to send the WES/ECA for the main applicant to OINP.

Thanx everyone for the reply. I will order WES for PA only.

Friend: Why take any chance at this stage?
I ordered for both myself and spouse. Not so expensive.

I suggest to order for both. Decision is yours.

Initially I have submitted my application to OINP with my IELTS results and at that time I was having around 408 points.
Now I completed 2 years of Canada work experience and I gave CELPIP exam during the wait period and my points increased around 448.

Do I have to send fresh CELPIP results to OINP explaning that my points increased. Or its not required.
