Guys can anyone provide me with the work experience format? I mean is there a specific format or template which I can follow
To whom it may concern; this is what Nova Scotia PNP required from my friend, and I believe it should be same for ON PNP too:
Re: Nova Scotia Nominee Program – File XYZ
Dear Mr. XYZ:
The Nova Scotia Office of Immigration (NSOI) is in the process of assessing your application made to the Nova Scotia Nominee Program Demand Express Entry Stream and intends to refuse your application.
In order to continue processing your application, additional information is required to be submitted to NSOI within 15 business days of the date of this correspondence. The requested information may be submitted via email, but for ease of reference please ensure that you quote your name and file #XYZ
Additional information required:
EXPERIENCE/INTENDED OCCUPATION IN NOVA SCOTIA:
Selection Factor 3: Work Experience – On page 13 of the NSNP 100 form, under the heading “Personal History” you have identified your work activity as a Software Engineer. Why have you not chosen NOC 2173 Software Engineers and Designers or 2174 Computer Programmers and Interactive Media Developers for the assessment of your work experience?
Documentation to show experience match with NOC 2173:
· Based on your resume, and the letter of reference from XYZ, it appears that you have held multiple positions with the company. Your letter of reference has not detailed each position with the various start and end dates and the specific work duties for each position. Please provide a new reference letter with this information, signed and dated by a responsible officer or supervisor
· Please provide a copy of the business card for the individual who issues your reference letter.
· Please complete the table below to clearly demonstrate how your job experience in the past 5+ years, compares to the requirements of NOC 2173 Software Engineers and Designers or 2174 Computer Programmers and Interactive Media Developers (whichever one best fits with your experience). List the duties found under the identified NOC (word for word as they are listed on the website http://www5.hrsdc.gc.ca/NOC/English/NOC/2011/QuickSearch.aspx?val65=2173 or http://www5.hrsdc.gc.ca/NOC/English/NOC/2011/QuickSearch.aspx?val65=2174 ) and list your experience word for word for each position as note on your letter of reference. The onus is on the applicant to clearly identify their NOC Code and how their work experience lines up with the duties under the NOC. Have this breakdown signed and dated by a responsible officer or supervisor.
***As indicated in the application guide you must demonstrate that you:
· performed the actions described in the lead statements for the occupation as set out in the occupational description of the NOC 2011,
And
· performed a substantial number of the main duties (***more than half), including all of the essential duties, of the occupation as set out in the occupational description of NOC 2011 (http://www5.hrsdc.gc.ca/NOC/English/NOC/2011/Welcome.aspx)

3. OTHER:
Ø What research have you done about Nova Scotia?
Ø What factors have influenced your decision to immigrate to Nova Scotia and make this your permanent home, as you have never visited Nova Scotia and you have also indicated that both you and your spouse have relatives who reside in Toronto ON? Why not immigrate to reside in ON with your family
Ø Have you made any inquiries about jobs in Nova Scotia? If yes, which companies have you contacted?
Ø Have you contacted any community groups in Nova Scotia? If yes, which ones.
Ø Do you know anyone who lives in Nova Scotia?
Ø Please submit translated copies of official statements of transactions for all bank accounts (you have provided information from Standard Chartered Bank for the following 2 accounts: XYZ) in your name and/or your spouse’s name for the past three months – June 01, 2015 to August 2015
Ø At the time of submission you stated that you have no liabilities (bank loans, personal loans, lines of credit and credit card balances), is this still true? If you do have bank loans, personal loans, lines of credit and/or credit card balances in your name and/or your spouse’s name please submit translated copies of your statements for the past three months June 01, 2015 to August 2015.
My friend ignored replying about research for jobs etc in Nova Scotia and simply chose NOC:2173 and it all worked without any issue.
ON PNP application guide provides guidelines about work experience letter but does not explicitly mention mapping that experience to NOC job and responsibilities. IMO, study them and then use this information to create a detailed letter.
I hope this will be helpful for people in this forum.
