Hi

I have sent my application on 20th Jan.'16. But still not got anything from there, not even AOR.
Upon sending e-mail enquiry, they send a standard reply that my application is in queue.

Can anyone guide what to do?

I submitted mine on 28th Jan... I got a reply, its still in queue, not yet started working on it

My cousin is a Canadian citizen and went to see his local MPP to complain about the length of time that this is taking. The MPP office contacted me for permission to speak with immigration on my behalf and, lo and behold, they are being ignored too! It is so frustrating.

I'm going to visit my family for the summer as I usually do, and hope something comes through whilst I am there so I don't have to fly home.

I saw on the december thread, that one application was returned and cannot be submited anymore because of some changes on OINP policy since may 9th 2016.

Has anyone talked to them about this? It looks very unfair, because most of us have been waiting half an year and this means wi will have to do it all again. We may have to wait for more than a year to get other chance.

Would it be better if we could send the missing documents instead of returning it? This would not be something abnormal since they allow this during the assessment stage of the application.

Yes it is a new development by OINP . Anybody whose application is returned cannot resubmit. They have now gone to lowest standard.

my work permit is expiring tomm and still I applied WP extension although I know it wont be approved. just want to know how should we inform the OINP office that we have applied for extension and if we have to write an email to them , what should we write
just saying that we have applied for extension or they need the shipping label receipt

I was among the last CEC when 2014. I missed one signature, they returned the entire package rather than ask me to re-submit. Now I have to suffer this OINP then EE. We are damned, so do be very careful...
