OINP officially declared that they received 1800 applications in Jan 2016.

It imply that approximately 1600 + applicants are not on this thread / forum?

As Dec applicants are still awaiting their AOR's for so long; are Jan / Feb ...May 9 would be pushed for a indefinite period. :'(

Hi guys I'm a January candidate too. My question is and plz help me is that next month my IELTS expire I talked with an immigration officer what should I do and he told just make sure that your papers are updated I still keep asked him because it's being a long time and I have not getting any update. What you would suggest me to do. Thanks.

Its a long wait. Be prepared, be very prepared. Make patience your best friend. Consider your self sitting on a bomb which ignites if you get up. Don't make no moves in terms of your career, life or anything.

in my case i am stuck with my current employer in UAE. Can't leave the country or job else I have to update my application which may take another century. Parents want me get married, which obviously is out of question with current policies of OINP

Dear Dimitris,

You will have to reappear in your IELTS and update your application accordingly. All your documents need to be valid by the time you get your nomination.

i am repeating my question on this forum coz i have got some conflicting responses. What is the best way to get a PCC in India ? The city i live in is not the same city from where i got my passport issued from, now for getting a PCC do i need to go back to the same PSK or i can apply at the local PSK in the city i currently live in...

i was told that if i go back to the PSK from where i got my passport issues i would get my PCC the same day ?

Has any one had a similar experience is getting the PCC the same day from the PSK which orignally issue the passport

Saw in the december group ,someone got an AOR for application delivered on 22/12/2015

But then i have seen people waiting as back as august .

We can never predict how these guys are working.

You can go to any PSK in country. They takes at least 7 - 10 days to issue PCC.
You just need to provide current address proof if it is different than passport.

How long have you been living in current place? If you're there for a year at least, then apply to PSK in that location.
Passport authority is a national entity, with centralized database, hence it should not matter where you apply. They forward the file to the local police station where you currently live.

i have been living in my current location for 3 years now, and for official address proof i have rent deed to support that, hope that would be fine ?
