Yes, I am pretty resigned to the fact I will have to leave Canada. I'm just buying some time.

According to this page, it takes 115 days to process a BOWP application sent via mail: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/index.asp#

dont lose hope though....goodluck and we are in the same boat, keep fighting!!! do you have a visitor's visa? maybe you can leave the border and comeback in? maybe that would buy you another 6 months or so?

This is their standard reply. If you are not inland applicant with expiring status, there is likely no chance for you to speed up. Sorry I don't meant to disappoint you, but that's the truth.

If you are an inland applicant with expiring status, fax them.

I got AOR 2 days ago, and my work permit expires in 17 days. I hope I will get my nomination soon.

I have changed my status to student recently, can any body suggest me that do I need to send an email to OINP stating that my status has been changed and attach the documents? please let me know.
