Got my AOR today!!

CEC inland. Application handed in January 29th.

My work permit is expiring in 11 days.

Going to apply for a BOWP via mail this week. I hope it comes through

FYI i had hired a Lawyer who is doing my application.

You need to check the courier for your info. In your case, you can probably check with your lawyer. I mailed my package with Canada Post Express, so I have a tracking number and I am able to track it.

Hi, It looks officers are handling the most urgent cases, such as for those working permit will be expired soon. I am quite curious that if they will check and associate such information ? or it is actually informed by individuals via email or phone call ?


Anyway, congratulation for those got confirmation.

BTW, Since your work permit will be expiring in 11 days, and the process of PR won't conclude within the time, what you need to do in order continue staying Canada ? I suppose you need extend your work permit anyway ? if there is enough time to do so ? within 11 days ? or there is any special treatment ? Thanks

There is nothing stopping me from applying and getting implied status. I can still work until they refuse my application. Two separate lawyers have confirmed this for me.

It's just buying me a couple of months before I have to stop working/leave Canada.

ok. although i just want to err in the side of caution. after AOR from OINP, it might take another 3-4 months for them to make a decision (on the average), i heard from a lawyer that decision on work permit extension is usually provided in a month or so. if you do get implied status, it might also expire and still no decision from OINP on nomination yet. - not sure what the next option would be if that happens (except for leaving canada).

They asked me did I called before and I said yes I was told to send fax. He said we recieved ur fax on 6th June and your file is in processing now, I comfirmed does that means its in queue or someone is working on it, they said its far ahead than queue and someone is working om it now
