Hi All,

I have been a silent follower of this forum and I want your valuable advice on the concern I currently have. My timeline as follows :

EE Profile Created: Nov 25, 2015(FSW)
OINP PT Notification: Nov 27, 2015
App Submitted to OINP: Jan 11, 2016
AOR Received: July 13, 2016
Addtl Doc Req: Awaiting
Nomination: Awaiting

My concern is that my profile is about to expire by Nov 24th, 2016 and my IELTS expires by Dec 13th, 2016. I should create a new profile by the end of November and notify to OINP. I have booked for an IELTS on 03rd December 2016. Hence I will only be able to receive the Result from IELTs by 20th December or so. Between the period of 13th Dec - till I receive my result, will my express entry profile become invalid? Will I have to create a new profile again and notify OINP or I'll just be able to update my IELTS score to the existing profile? Will that complicate the process?

Your responses are highly appreciated and thanks in advance.

man, i wonder why people are waiting till last minute to rewrite IELTS, is this something we are all willing to take a risk on ?? what happens if OINP says No, if you cannot keep profile active during entire period we wont give nomination (i mean its highly unlikely, but knowing OINP they will look for ways to reject applicants) . but what is very likely to happen is your IELTS result wasnt as good as last time and your CRS score goes below 400, in that case you absolutely have to withdraw your application... what is also likely to happen is IELTS routinely withholds results to check for malpractise or something and that delays results by several days to several weeks... i can say this with experience - my result was delayed by 10-15 days, my brothers result was delayed by well over a month...

ideally if ielts is going to expire within 4 months, you should book a test immediately... have atleast 2 bites of the cherry... my ielts is going to expire in 1st week of dec, i rewrote it in september, didnt get desired result so i'm writing it again this weekend... i absolutely dont want to take a chance...

According to me and pattern I see, Jan month applicants will be divided into 15-15 days batch or 7-7-7-7 days batch and officers will be assigned.
In December and November group 7-7-7-7 days batch pattern is being followed so far. And we people are thinking nominations are given randomnly which is true as well but it is a pattern too.

Additional docs needs to be prepared after their request only but below is the request so that you have major info.

Latest PoF
Latest Payslips or last six months pay slips or it can be of previous employers too.
Passport copies of old passport
Proof of Job search or Applied Jobs
Letter of intent to reside in Ontario

I believe so far each one has received their old DD back, and their new DD en-cashed by ON PNP.

Thanks prashantduggal. I not working since last year. Is it make any impact on my application as I am not working? More, I have already submitted previous employer all details.

I got rejection from Nova Scotia last year. I have attached that letter too. I am in worry, should this circumstances make any difference in my application?

My representative (immigration attourney) informed me that being unemployed has no effect on your application. As long as you already have proven experience in your field of education. And at least 1 year of professional experience in the last 5 years.

May I ask why you were rejected by Nova Scotia?

Everyone is waiting that OINP start sending the Additional document request and nomination to January applications since it's the month in which they have received the maximum number of applications.

Hopefully something gets change in November and more over federal government will also announce their 2017 plan.

So all way November is gonna be the month of all expectations and results.

My profile also expired today; I submitted the new profile myself and registered again on the Job Bank.

Request you to suggest the next steps and following questions.

1. How can I inform the ONIP?
2. What all I need to send to ONIP?

send them by email the new & old EE profile numbers and new jobbank code.

you need to inform them that you cancelled your representative too (VERY IMPORTANT).. I think there's a special form to do this on the website

Lets see...

Days or AOR date means nothing to them .... they might be making batches on the basis of file#. Something like File# 2000-2250 assigned to Team1, 2251-2500 assigned to Team2
