Thanks for your reply CanadaWeCome!

The NOC codes changes in my case, Methods and procedures analyst falls in NOC code 1122 and "Methods and procedures manager" falls in the category of 0125.

Now, the problem is that if I show them separately in CIC express entry profile, then my CRS drops from 408 to 396. Right now, I have combined this experience and shown it in one category of 0125 with skill level "0" beacuse of which my CRS is 408.

Kindly suggest as I am in a fix!

If that is the case, IMO it entirely depends on the reference letter with your roles and responsibilities your company provides to you.

Having said that, if you can manage to get a letter from your HR/Managers stating all your roles and responsibilities into one group that matches mostly with one of the NOCs that you want to quote, then you can show it as one experience in your EE profile and retain your score of 408, but if the company says it will have to split your roles and responsibilities into two based on your role as manager and analyst, then alas you will be at a loss of 12 points bringing you down to 396.

But if you are already promoted as a manager and performing these roles for quite some time now, i am sure you won't have difficulty convincing them to provide you with just one letter to keep things simple and easy with mostly the current roles and a mention of few past roles as analyst as well, so that the overall letter looks like one single NOC of longer experience.

All the best!

Note: On second thoughts i don't think Methods and procedures analyst falls in NOC code 1122, since 1122 is purely for Quality/auditors/ISO9000 related professionals. There is nothing common between NOC 1122 as analyst and NOC 0125 as Manager. IMO your role as analyst must have a different code. Please do more research to find the exact code or it's better to write to NC-NOC-CNP-GD@hrsdc-rhdcc.gc.ca for the exact match for both.

My score is 417. my ielts written score if improved to 7 from 6.5 can lift my CRS upto 465. i have re applied for ielts but that is on 19th march. and my OINP pt. notification of interest is expiring on 4th march. i am still confused whether i should take a risk of 1500 CAD and whether it is sure that having provided all the required documents, i will get a nomination from ontario?
or i should just try to improve my score in ielts?
please suggest asap as i am already short of time.

It's only you who can answer both these below questions with certainty.

  • How confident are you in improving your IELTS score based on your past experience of the test format and your study/knowledge and command over the English as a language and method of communication and
  • How strong is your case (i mean documentation wise) for your OINP application, will say a lot about you successfully getting the nomination by spending C$1500.

and that is what will decide how you should proceed.

HI All,

could you suggest, if i need to submit all 6 months bank statements to OINP or a Portfolio which contains the current money available in my bank account excluding the liabilities.
( Portfolio has details about all accounts in my bank where as statements doesn't have information about all accounts it doesn't have either chequing or saving), this portfolio is similar to statement and it has my name and address on it. the reason why i am asking this question is because one of my friend who got approved for Ontario PNP under Human capital stream
recently hasn't submitted 6 month bank statements he just submitted the portfolio ( Summary of current balance of Bank account ). please kindly suggest on this.

Thanks & Regards

The rule says 6 months of Bank statement and/or Bank letter with six months average balance needs to be submitted.

Taking a risk by not submitting something which is not very difficult to get isn't advisable.

If you are a FSW applicant, you will receive AOR through e-mail in about 10 weeks after they received your application package. I guess there was another applicant that missed to mention the e-mail ID. Not being pessimistic here but this might result in your application being deemed incomplete. You can send them an e-mail at ontarionominee@ontario.ca and ask them to add the e-mail ID to your file. That's the most you can do now!

Mentioning the e-mail ID on the envelope is not required. OINP will send you an AOR only after checking your documents and deeming it complete (and that takes about 10 weeks for FSW applicants). You will not receive any communication from them before that. You are good to go if you have mentioned your e-mail ID inside the application package!

After you get AOR, you can send them the updated documentation via email at ontarionominee@ontario.ca .

If i were in your place, i would have booked two IELTS tests at different test centers. It wont be a difficult thing to improve your score from 6.5 to 7 with some preparation. You can even join some IELTS test preparation course if you r not very confident. All this wont cost more than 25 to 30K and you will surely get the ITA before April. If you choose OINP, you have to pay above 75K and it takes more than 3months time to get the nomination. So looking at time-wise or money-wise, Improving IELTS score is better option in my opinion.
