I am working in the same profession for last more than six years, and i have reference/experience letters for all three employers, I am sending my application to OINP HCPS, My question is i have Job Contract and Paystubs for my current employer only, i do not have past two contracts and paystubs, Does the only contract letter along with pay stubs from my current employer suffice for OINP HCPS application?

Contract and pay-stubs aren't compulsory or necessary documents from any employer, unless they specifically ask for them later, but reference letters are.

As long as you have references letters as per CIC's requirements you are good to apply.

All the best!

Hi,

I am just about to submit my application for ONIP. I wanted to know that while submitting the copies of all pages of my passport, does CIC require translation of immigration stamps or any other visas that are not totally in English to be submitted with the application? Thanks

No - Translation of the visas and visa stamps are NOT required, IMO. As long as your PP is in English, you are good to go!

Hi Raj and Others,

I wanted to seek clarification if the degree certificates needs to be notarized even though it is in English. Section J in the Nomination Form says " Certified True Copies". Does this mean that one has to get his/her Degree Certificate notarized. If yes by whom?. I had sent a copy of my degree certificate to ECA with out any notarization and they accepted with out any problem. My emails to Ask Expert or Ontarionominee@Ontario.ca are not getting answered.

Thanks and Regards,

Notarization is not required for your degree/diploma certificates. Certified true copies are required only for Canadian degrees.

Hi I got a PT notification to apply for OINP.
my CRS is 442 (qualifying to apply for both FSWP and CEC ).
but I have situation where I am unable to produce document required for first 2 months to support FSWP (I was trainee for first 2 months in my 1 year work period-only on bonus and my employer not including 2 months as employment) . so if reduce my foreign exp. to 10 month my CRS will drop down to 416. I am worried if that affects my PT invitation.
I have read the explanation above and appears that I can either choose to apply under CEC or FSWP.

I defiantly want to go with CEC because I am working in Canada but I am worried what if I change FSWP after receiving PT invitation notification.
please help
.

As long as your CRS is >400, you are good to go! If you have at least one year of paid work experience in Canada within the last 3 years, you can choose to be assessed against CEC.

When you send your application package, you can attach a LOE outlining your situation.

Do you have 1 year of experience in Canada in same job code within last three years to be eligible for CEC?

I guess you have shown 1 year of foreign experience in your profile and don't have documents to support it. Can't you get a reference letter from your supervisor or someone showing those dates? Anyway for the OINP nomination under CEC, you don't have to send this letter as you are not claiming the point. This may be needed later for PR applications and may not be an important document as you applying as provincial nominated candidate. I afraid whether they consider this as wrong information provided, if you change the express entry profile now which changes your points. This is my thought and it is always better to provide the right information upfront.

Hey Guys

I have an multiple operating deposit account with SBI. I was successful in receiving stamped bank statements from them for the pat 6 months.

My query is that I have a multiple operating deposit account or a flexi-fixed account where sweep in and sweep out happens as per need and savings balance is kept minimal upto say 25000 and rest is deposited in a FD.

Now bank statement gives an overall balance with all FDs and the sum is shown as MOD balance separately. Will this be an issue with OINP?

Please advise

Thanks

Hi Raj

Thanks a lot for taking the initiative of starting this wonderful and informative thread!! Cheers :)

Now, I hope that my queries/ concerns are not duplicate but I need your and others input here:

1. Employee Referral Letters -

a) From Current Employer - I have been able to extract a very comprehensive referral letter from my current employer issued by
the HR head with company seal, mentioning my current manager's name, my tenure, my salary details and my current reporting
manager's signatures on it.

However, the catch here is that I was promoted to my current role which falls under the category of NOC-0125 in
Jan'15. Hence, my referral letter from my current employer also talks my previous role and responsibility along with my previous
manager's name (I could only have an approval e-mail from him on the content of the referral letter since he is out of the country). I
have not mentioned about this previous role in my CIC EE profile which falls under NOC -2171 in which I was serving
from Nov'13 till Dec'14.

Query 1. Would it make a difference if I show my experience in my current role which falls under the category of NOC-0125 since
Nov'13 instead without mentioning about my old role from which I was promoted? Or should I update my CIC EE profile with another
line showing my old experience from Nov'13 - Dec'14 with NOC - 2171 and then modify my current experience with NOC-0125 from
Jan'15 till present (as I am still serving in this position).

Query 2. Would the approval e-mail from my previous manager on the content of the referral letter work in this case? Also, do I need
to include the employee ID's of both of my managers - is this a requirement?

Query 3. I still haven't received the increment letter from HR for my 2016's raise though my referral letter has been updated with my
new CTC as it was approved by the management? How do i explain this to OINP while submitting my documents?

b) From my previous employer: My previous company issued me a standard referral letter which only my designation, my
responsibilities, my service tenure. But they did not cover the points of mentioning my reporting manager's name, my salary
description (for this they advised me to use my appointment letter which I have but is not signed by the HR as it was electronically
shared with me).

Query 4. Is it important to have my reporting manager's name on the referral letter?
Query 5. Will the (unsigned) appointment letter work instead in absence of my salary and benefits details on the referral letter as my
appointment letter contains my complete salary plus benefits structure that I was entitled for while serving in that company?

2. Settlement Funds:

Query 5. Could you kindly enlighten me on how to get a Gift Deed? What's the process, is it something that a notary does or is it a
legal document prepared by a lawyer/ advocate and the needs to be registered some authority?

3. Ties to Ontario:

I have a very good childhood friend living in Toronto whom I frequently exchange e-mails? - This is currently my only tie or bond with
Ontario though I am also aware that I have a better career prospect in Ontario considering by educational and professional background.

Query 6. How strong would my childhood friend's staying in Toronto be considered as a Tie? Should i also include the e-mails that I
have exchanged with him in this regard?
Query 7. How can I show better career prospects in Ontario without have a Job offer letter from any of the employers?
Query 8. Can anyone share a format of this letter - a generic one would help!

Kindly help me with the above queries as I am nearing my application submission cut-off date!

Regards
Vidhu

Hi,

I am collecting the doccuments to apply for Ontario PNP. I have a birth certificate which was issued on 2010 and though it was written in English
its not a printed version, its manually written some fields like my name and date of birth and place of birth. does it an issue? currently i don't have a printed version actually in my region revenue officers issue the birth certificates by writing manually and sign, stamp on the birth certificate.please let me know if i can submit this document.

Thank you.
