OINP CEC Inland candidate(POF),Asivad bro (I havent find proper answer for this)

Hi,

I am working in Ontario, collecting docs to apply to OINP, so if i am applying under OINP CEC Stream do we have to submit Bank statement from Canadian Bank or it is only applicable to FSWP category ? and if we have to show fund, how much fund we need to show in our bank account if we are applying for CEC stream.

I went through some posts regarding this topic but could find proper answer. Please help me.

If you qualify under CEC and are invited under that program, CIC exempts you from POF requirements. Ontario shouldn't be any different.

Check Page 12 of this guide. It depends on how many dependants you have with you.

CIC ITA and OINP are different.
OINP has their own requirements.
I am qualified under CEC and applied for OINP under CEC, but had to show POF.

I have no experience from my country, so clearly i am not eligible for FSW. I am working since last April in Ontario (April, 2015). I will be ONLY eligible for CEC category soon. As far as my knowledge and i went through some posts and finally i came to conclusion that i dont have to show POF.

My point is: Except CEC i have no other choice so they (Federal) have to send me the invitation on this category. As soon as i create express entry profile, OINP will send me the invitation on the basis CEC Category. After reviewing all things PNP will give me the extra 600 points and I still have to apply through one of the 3 programs - CEC, FSW, or FST. So, My only option is CEC.

If i am eligible under CEC (Before OINP give me nomination), hopefully (after giving the nomination) i will still be eligible under CEC. ITA will come from OINP but i am always under my base category (CEC Category).

Are they asking you to show your POF on your checklist. Please correct me if i am wrong. Thanks a lot for your kind reply

Hi 2 scenarios:

1.
If you get ITA under CEC without the support of OINP, of course you dont need to show POF.

2. But if you get PT from ON, they want you to show POF. I and my spouse work in Canada since 2013, and I had to show it.,
Just say you got nominated and got ITA under PNP you have to show the same POF that you showed for OINP application.

But if you get ITA under CEC while you are waiting for OINP nomination (if you have a good score <450, there is a good chance), then you dont have to show any POF if you have not mentioned any POF in your profile.

ITA under CEC is much faster than ITA under PNP.

Looks like if you have employment (which satisfies requirement of 3.1 section) then settlement funds might not be needed

See below extract from OINP Application guide:

Income in Ontario
If you demonstrate ongoing employment income to satisfy the settlement funds requirement, submit supporting documents as evidence of ongoing employment in Ontario or a valid job offer in Ontario (note that you must be able to legally work in Ontario). See Section 3.1 for required documents.

Yes, Now i completely understand. I am checking with CRS Calculator, It's not good. There is slightly chance to get ITA from CEC. I already have Canadian masters but for increasing point i applied for ECA for my bachelors last month. lets see, if i add ECA how many extra points i will get and if there is any chance to get ITA directly. If there is no difference, i am planning to apply through PNP. Because, i dont want to be late. Also, i have to manage 11,931 CAD for me..... i don't have too much cash in my savings plus i am paying my car loan as well biweekly.

I did not take the risk to avoid rejection..

But yes, you can give it a try,
Try to provide an LOA with all your payslips, Job offer, T4s and other assets you have in Ontario. .

After hearing comment from Asivad i became very happy but right now i feel little bit demoralized. i can manage money for me but i have to take a lot of pain. I was planning to see my parents but right now i cant visit them until i get Permanent resident. I have to save and borrow money from others.

If you have Canadian Masters, then whats the need of ECA for your bachelors? Your Highest Qualification will still be Masters right?

hey I was in same Dilemma.
I had to borrow money and cannot go back to my home to see my parents.. Stuck with these Process. Its been 3 years..
Now I cannot touch that money until I get PR. Now I think I should have waited to get ITA under CEC. So it would have been much faster and no POF needed.

But i Think you should be fine if you can convince the Officer with your LOA and all your income proofs instead of POF. I should have done that..
Give it a try.. You will get it as long you work here in Ontario and allowed to work..

Bonus CRS? R u sure? So what will be the Highest Education will you select?
I am not sure about that.. It will be better to confirm that first before spending money on ECA...
