Hi Guys,

Congrats to all with their AOR's !!!

Considering my 19th Feb application received date, I am keeping my fingers crossed for tonight to see that exclusive (and elusive) AOR email !!!

I needed some clarity on the new demand draft process. Could some of you guys list a step-by-step process of how to make the new DD, when our old DD has expired? Please also explain that with this new DD, do we courier it (lets say from India) or what? What are the total expenses involved?

It will be helpful to all the other guys who might shortly get their AOR's with a new DD request from OINP.

Hi Has anyone received any notice from the OINP regarding their application reaching the assessment phase or decision phase ? Typically how much time does it take ?
I received my AOR on 16th Aug.

My application Reached them by feb 19th FSW outland. And my file number is 16052XX.

The process of making a new DD remains the same - no different process. Make a new DD for 1500 CAD and send it to OINP via courier (use a reliable one). The costs associated with the courier from India might be around 3000 INR. Once you send your new DD, they will return your old DD back.

Not everyone receives such an e-mail. Once you get AOR, your file is automatically put in queue for review by an Investigator/Analyst.

Hi everyone, I have received my AOR from OINP yesterday with request for a new demand draft. This has come as a bit of surprise as I'm expecting my application to be returned citing incompleteness as I have left significant gaps in timeline since I turned 18 in personal information work section of I have filled t application electronically so, didn't really write N/A in some sections as it's restricted electronically to do so. But, then this miracle happened. This forum is full of wonderful people. Although I was not active, I have been following thread from long time. So , count me in guys. My profile:

Category : FSW outbound

Just confirming on the action item. So I make a DD for 1500$ and write my name and file number on the back of new DD and send it . And also confirm the address to which my old DD has to be sent right? Confirming my address for old DD should i send them a mail? any inputs please

Could you please share your file number masking the last 2 digits? I suppose yours would look like XHSW-16052XX ?

Hello friends,

I have sent my new DD. It was received by OINP office but the problem is that my courier company shows location Mississauga. However, it was supposed to Toronto instead of Mississauga.

Signing person name is ARNOLD NK. Anyone else who has sent new DD n was signed by ARNOLD NK?

Please help me guys.

Hey it was same case with me, signed by Arnold NK, but when i saw his digital signature in canadapost it seems it is ananth(Mostly from India Origin)

However, I am working at junior level so I get my pay in hand(by cash) though I am getting pay slips every month.

Pls suggest how will I justify it if they ask me to show the bank statements regarding my pay?

get a letter from your employer saying that you are paid in cash
