OINP Application sent in November 2015

Doesn't make sense because our applications have already been "processed". A senior processing officer has to send the nomination. Why do you want to submit the documentation again? Doesn't make sense.

He thinks better to scrap and start from scratch with the expectation that the new on line application system will expedite NoM's.

Believe me, the new application system will come with it's issues, glitches and it would take weeks, months to stabilize.

What's the guarantee about the new automated system. We may land up in a grave situation.

It makes perfect sense. Because your file is in final stage since ages. And to nominate a few people they will take months. Instead they can nominate all of us in 90 days with new online applications and come out with 2017 quota in January.

Destruction is the first step to reconstruction !!!!!!

Yes, I believe many files are already on the pile for nomination (or rejection) and they are just waiting for something (we dont know why, what) to send them out. Just cant believe I would get a rejection after all this time.. Cant believe I once thought I would be landing in Canada summer of 2016..

Determination — number of invitations

1. (1) For the purposes of paragraph 10.2(1)(b) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act, the number of invitations that may be issued during the period beginning on September 7, 2016 and ending on September 8, 2016 is 1,000.

Required rank

(2) Foreign nationals who, on September 7, 2016 at 12:09:27 UTC, have been assigned a total of 491 points or more under the Comprehensive Ranking System that is set out in the Ministerial Instructions Respecting the Express Entry System, as published in the Canada Gazette, Part I, on December 1, 2014 and as amended from time to time, occupy the rank required to be invited to make an application for permanent residence.

I love ur optimism... But dont get ur hopes up so high yet.. We may see some movement(hopefully). But honestly, I Am fairly sure oinp is going to take some time to ramp up. Maybe after 19th ( when they hire the new guys)we may see faster movement..

Its obvious nominations wont come in a day LOL ...I just said it will prove to be a game changer Draw. Things will be different from tomorrow

His name is Av(b?)ijeet Bose and he was very courteous and friendly. Spoke for about 22 minutes and the conversation was about my job roles and responsibilities at my current organisation and the previous one. And he asked why I wanted to move to Ontario.

From the conversation, it is quite obvious he had my reference letters and other documents before him during the 'phone call; I suggest that everybody expecting a call from the OINP officers keep their reference letters and such docs handy.

I have been asked to send my bank statements over to OINP within the next 15 days. And yeah, he said it will take "2 months or perhaps more" for the process. I asked him if it could take less than two months and he laughed and said he can give me only an approximate timeline.

And he confirmed that OINP has received my "Change of Personal Information" form and my new passport.

I hope we get the nomination soon enough. I am among the last of the Nov '15 applicants and I really hope we start getting our nominations soon. Good luck all!
