1122 must be in high demand right now then. I saw few CEC friends on this forum who have been waiting for nomination since Oct-15.

I am of the belief that the OINP process is NOC-agnostic, as of now at least. MCIIT may decide to change this later, though I hope it doesn't. It makes very little sense in filtering nominations and PRs based on NOC as it is quite obvious that as a permanent resident, one can choose to work in any field. Australia does this, and it is quite stupid; I know folks who are working in domains that have nothing to do with their ANZSCO code.

I too would like to believe that OINP is NOC agnostic but given the record-breaking processing time of skanawat, I am slightly inclined to believe that this might indeed be because of her NOC.

Hmmm, Strange. A few Nov applicants (7, right?) have already received their nominations - any idea what their NOCs are? I did not find Stanlee's NOC in the OINP spreadsheet.

My inference was based on few cases I observed on this forum. It is a very small sample draw conclusion and I might be wrong too. Quite a few CEC candidates from Dec and Jan have received nominations while there are CEC candidates from Sep and Oct still waiting. Then there is this FSW Outland lady who got AOR well before Nov applicants and now a nomination while few CECs are still waiting. So, only way I see these dots connecting is if OINP is giving preference to few NOCs that are in high demand at the moment.

It could be the case that the lady has a job offer in hand and that's the reason why her application was expedited. Raj might know if it is so. But I doubt it because a job offer anyway gives you 600 points. Doesn't make sense to wait OINP.

Is there a database maintained for november applicants seperately to view the status of nominations ?

Not exactly a database, but we do have a spreadsheet: http://tinyurl.com/OINPspreadsheet

It is not regularly updated from what I see there.

This post by Raj has the most updated info for Nov applicants:

Almost a month ago - this saddens me a lot :(

Thanks for the link shashidhar. But it looks depresssing, theres no pattern for issue of nominations and seems like nominations are being held deliberately. Its a mystery to understand how OINP will issue nominations to so many people and how long will we need to stay calm just waiting. Nov, Dec and now Jan applicants waiting in the queue.

And there are a few Oct applicants who have been waiting longer than us.

:D ;D I sent an inquiry email last night and got a reply an hour ago.
they reply inquiry emails in less than one day with their useless general answers, I prefer to wait 15 day's or a month and get a real answer!

But there should be something real with them to send you :P

No just plain job offers don't get you 600 points, only LMIA supported ones do.

Hypothetically, even if what you say were true (which surely isn't), and would have got 600 points that way, why would she apply to MCIIT (for OINP) paying C$1500 to get another additional 600 points, that she already has to het an ITA?

Sad part is, even after 15days you won't get any real answers...like us
