Okay guys, the person I was referring to yesterday has got her nomination just now!! ... Hope the nominations rain down soon!

@Raj, any idea about her file number??? 1560xxx like that. Mine is 1600xxx and that too app received by ONIP on October.So I guess NOC is coming into play. If that is the case, it isn't a good news for us.

But who are already in Canada, working full time having all the benefits. Why do they need an LMIA? ;D
It is so funny, whoever made this rule, You are working full time, its fine but still you need to arrange an LMIA no matter how much taxes You have been paid in all these years. and on the second hand some xyz can get PR if they have an LMIA no matter if they are living in Canada or not.

And then in the process of LMIA many employers take advantage of employers and eventually it gets rejected.

Yes, Life is not always fair...Their country, so they get to make the rules...that we all must abide by...Sad but TRUE!

That truth is they don't want you there doing that job for long (only as long as your employer can get you WP) unless you are a local/PR holder or your job is in demand that no local has skill for.

On employee prospective : It is very hard to find a job first of all.
On employer prospective : They put so much time on you to teach you things and in couple of years when you learn those things and doing your work progressively, helping society by being part of it, helping in economy growth. your work permit expires and you have to head back.

Most of the companies don't want to put extra efforts for your LMIA esp. big companies.

One of my friend worked for a bank for 2 years, He didn't have enough express entry score to qualify for PR. He spent money on taxes, lawyers work permits go really good experience in banking but eventually had to go back!!

The way they are giving out AOR;s now gives the hope that nominations will soon be given out. january is almost done and 4 February applicants also got AOR;s today !

Hope to see some nominations simultaneously now. High time for October November applicants who are waiting since ages.

I wish your assumptions come true. My profile expires in less than 30days, so linking and informing ONIP will make things lag in my case I guess, because there is no reply to my mails. bestofluck/raj can you explain me the correct procedure for creating a new EE profile and how to link it to old one and how to inform onip?

Created a new profile end of May:

If the profile on which you received a Letter of Interest became ineligible, you have to advise our office.

The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) will continue to process your application if you create a new Express Entry profile, however, to do so we require you to provide the following within 30 calendar days from the creation of your new profile, or if you have not yet submitted your application, with the application:

1. The Express Entry number/job seeker validation code for your new profile;

2. A copy of the letter you have received from Citizenship and Immigration Canada acknowledging the new profile; and

3. A letter explaining why you updated your profile and a list of the additional or updated information you provided in your new Express Entry profile.

Please be advised that OINP may require you provide additional or updated documents to support your application.

OINP staff will contact you directly should documentation be required.

All statements and authorizations that you agreed to in your original application continue to apply to any new information you provide to support your application.

If you provide false or incomplete information, your application will be denied.

It looks to be that the word "Nomination" meant in the link is EOI from OINP. Not the actual nomination giving us 600 points.
