They have disabled the "speak to an operator" feature on their IVR. I mean, it still says "Press 0 to speak to an operator" but as soon as I pressed it, it asks for 10 digit mail box number. I dialed the number of my officer and no one picked the phone. There was no voicemail for God's sake.

Hey Raj,

Just read your signature. Seems as though our dates are the same. The PT date, submission date and AOR. So hopefully we move along together and soon too for Nomination!

Incorrect - On Thursday only I had a word with them.

You need to call in second half, and have to try multiple times back to back to get a hold on a operator.

Ok, I should have added a "might" there. I tried to call them multiple times, it directly asks for the 10 digit mailbox number. SO, I guess this happens most of the time - I believe a few others also have been experiencing the same issue (a few people on that whatsapp group mentioned the same).

I ran into same situation for 3 weeks straight and then I tried calling them in second half, got lucky.

They are about to complete giving AOR to December group. Hope they start with nominations which are pending since months simultaneously with giving AOR to January applicants. Good Luck to all.

There have been no nominations from last 2 months for FSW,dont they have any max tiemframe, which organization works like that in this age, guys i think its high time we should jointly plan an action.

They have sent around 1400 AORs (file numbers 1400Nov-2800Dec) for Dec applicants over two months. That gives us 30 AORs per working day. Let's say they work 6 hours a day, which means 5 AORs per hour.

Let's assume that ISOs are working on AORs and I/A on moninations.

Immigration Support Officer - 8
Investigator/Analyst - 9

How is it possible to issie only 5 AORs per hour while they have at least 8 officers there ???
1 officer could issue 5 AORs per hour whereas 8 officers should issue 40 AORs per hour >:(

What's more. They also have got 9 I/A officers who are supposedly working on nominations, but where are they?
Maybe those officers were assigned to AORs? then it should be 80 AORs per hour and 480 per day and 2000 per month.

:/

I just think they are holding put nominations due to instructions from CIC, u don't see a huge number of draws only 700-800 people invited, once the draws go back to normal u can hear some huge influx of nominations too

I agree, I have a strong feeling that "IRCC forcing OINP to issue nominations at a super-low pace" is the case.
Hope the number of ITAs in each draw increase soon.

I guess it is the only possible exlanation coz they obviously have a sufficient number of people to process all applications.

why would IRCC do that?

To control the cut-off score at each draw. According to the current trend (700-800 ITAs per draw), if OINP issue say 100 nominations before each draw, the cut-off score would increase significantly which will result in candidates with CRS score of around 460-490 losing hope to get direct ITA and they may go for other options like Australia.

in the mid-year report 2016 we will see the number of PNP applicants in each draw, maybe there is already 80% of people with a PNP.
