hello Vivek Kumar Sharma,

I am almost in the same situation . I also missed out sending my old passport copies wih OINP application package. My new passport was issued just six months back only. As your timeline shows, you received AOR which I guess, means your package was not returned, can you please share me how you handled the case? I am much worried and would really appreciate help. Thanks in advance.

Hi Evernabin, im Vivek Kumar not vivek kumar sharma.

I had the same situation and i sent my old passport copies through courier to them. So if you have missed, better u send it ASAP the hard copy and also you can send an email. Dont forget to attach an LOE.

LOL. Mr. PL seems to be calling applicants that are in Canada (and not outland applicants). I have the same officer - let's see how things pan out.

Even my case officer is PL. I had received a call from him last Thursday after i submitted additional documents as requested by him.

Hi Guys,

My AOR email subject has subject: XHSW-xx-xxxxxxxx. All the "x" are numbers, only first 4 are letters.
So, how do you determine the Case officer based on this? Is there any link or doc to understand who is the officer post AOR?

They must be in brackets at the end of the subject, after the numbers. Mine were (II).

Ohh nothing like that in my case
It says "XHSW-16-xxxxxxxx Acknowledgement letter/Receipt" thats it!! (from Ontarionominee@ontario.ca).
Hope this is not a issue. more than 30 days since AOR, and no other email/calls nothing.

Don't worry bro, I got additional doc request after almost 2 months post AOR.

OINP app recd: 12th Nov 2015
AOR: 10th Mar 2016 (II)
Additional Docs request: 11th April 2016 (PL)
Additional Docs submitted: 20th April 2016
Call received for more docs: 21st April 2016 (PL)

I'm gonna send him an email within the next hour, so let's see what happens next. :-X

He basically wanted me to prove that I am currently residing and working in my home country (he called me on my home country cell phone number, so yeah) :

Plus the immigration officer at DXB airport forgot to stamp my residence visa as cancelled when I left UAE last year, so i had to retrieve a file from the UAE immigration office and send it to him.

He had other queries about my spending habits (like why I wasn't spending money from my bank account, weird right?) & my career choices. He had a problem with almost everything and he was not letting me explain, so I told him that I would email him (at least I get to communicate then).

So yeah let's see what happens now.

Some of the questions were just too ridiculous and the fact that he wouldn't let me explain them, well was just getting to my nerves. But I decided to keep calm for as long as possible (call lasted for around 10-15 mins). He wasn't being clear on what exactly he wanted from me & he kept saying 'I am not going to confirm anything, you send me what you can and then I will decide if I can accept it' :-\

The thing is that I have all the documentation and yet this guy was being very rude and ridiculous, that has got me nervous. What if I get a rejection because this person doesn't understand how the world works? Is there some senior authority who can assist me? I don't know answers to these questions (maybe someone in the forum might know a way).

The only positive thing I can take from this that I got a very quick response after waiting 4+ months for a bloody acknowledgement and then this happened.
