If your ceremony is in-person then you'll be getting physical certificate. I opted for e-certificate but we were provided with physical certificate

Yes, I wasn't expecting ours to be on there, it will definitely come. It may even show up in your account tomorrow, as sometimes the system takes a while for it to be accessed!

We got our certificates this morning and we applied for our Passports in the afternoon.. It was so pleasant and took around 75 mins to get everything done at the passport office ... Easy peasy!

Hi, must be nice to get citizenship certificate like some of the applicants here lately. I hope I'll get mine soon.

I have a couple question, if any of you have an idea or experience about it:
1. My background verification updated today 6 weeks after the citizenship test. Some of the applicants here get their background before the test..
is that normal? (just curious, you know something like this I don't have to freak out but I kinda feel like I want to freak out just because LOL)
2. I applied citizenship with expired and lost PR card. I received my new PR card last week.. should I update the citizenship or
call them to let them know I got my new PR card?

Hmmmm.. just that, nothing crazy.. the wait times and the feeling of waiting is just overwhelming but that's all we can do, is to wait LOL..

if your passport is expired then you can use a Valid or expired permanent resident card (PR card) (1 of 2)
then for the second piece of id it can either be your drivers license or province photo id card or province health card (1 of the 3)

i am using my pr card as my passport might likely expire during the process.

what do you mean? if you are doing it online it the identifcation section only asks for 1 of 3 examples to use as a personal id
Biographical page (bio page) of your passport or travel document or
Valid or expired permanent resident card (PR card)
