Hey guys! So I have been very patient and at this point, I am getting frustrated. My latest updated was Background Completed on Nov 17, and test marked Completed on Nov 29th. Nothing else since... I am seeing other folks with the same timeline as mine are already being invited to take the Oath and here I am. Should I start calling them? I mean how long more should I wait? It will be soon 3 months and no news. My processing office is Scarborough .....

Hi everyone! How long does it typically take to receive oath invitation from LPP completed? My husbands' application's last update was 2th Feb which LPP was completed from Vancouver office and no update so far (He received the ghost update on 10th Feb, but nothing since then)

I assume it varies depending on which processing office is, but I would like to know the average timeline nowadays.

Even my LPP is in progress since Dec 22. I believe your office must be Vancouver same as mine.

I am Vancouver as well. LPP was updated to progress on Dec 14 and after that no changes.

I just called to see if there was any background movement on my application, just out of sheer annoyance at the sluggishness. I also confirmed that my processing center is the SCR one as well.
Just seems to be the slowest of the lot for one reason or another.

If we have opted for Electronic certificate (citizenship certificate) in the citizenship application, do we still get the paper copy in case the oath ceremony will be in person? or it will be E-certificate only?

Or can we request to have paper copy?
