Can anyone advise, what’s faster - to get paper certificate and wait for 2 days before applying for a passport or to get an e-certificate ( it can come within 5 days after the ceremony)

Yes, but even at the in-person they give two options- paper or e-certificate.

For in-person paper is better option. For online zoom oath e-certificate is better option.

Dec 8 rcvd invite to complete the Citizenship test (have time from Dec 11 -Jan 9)
Dec 15 - test taken
Dec 19 - app tracker updated with “Test completed”
Dec 28 - fingerprints result received
Dec 30 - background verification complete
Jan 17 - LPP completed, application updated Jan 19
Jan 31 - application updated to take the Oath on Feb 7.
Feb 1 - received email with instructions to attend the in-person ceremony on Feb 7 in Mississauga
