Hi, could anyone in India schedule biometric appointment? Till Friday, the website didn’t allow appointment booking and the message for FCP and SP still persists. Thanks in advance.

@legalfalcon can U kindly confirm if UCI number changes after biometrics? I already have the 10 digit UCI number. I just wish to know if after completion of Biometrics the UCI number changes.
Thanks for your reply.

Dear all,

I have submitted my eAPR with some minor changes from my ee profile:
1. I have changed my primary occupation eligibility date from my first job joining date to graduation date as it mentioned to enter the date of min qualification to practice it.
2. In my ee profile i added only my eca ref number. Now i have added IMM suffix as shown on eca report
3. I changed my fulltime mba as part time as it is less than 15 hrs/week

All these changes are clearly explained in LOE. Will it create any problem in my application or cause any delay? Pls respond as i am getting anxious.

I am also from India. My BIL date is 5th Nov but unable to book appointment till today. And worst part is on the appointment booking page, no information is available that when they will open the appointments booking for categories other than FCP and SP.
Hi respected member. Currently PR applicants from india can't book their Bil Appointments. We just need to wait or else try to give it somewhere else. I also have my bil letter with expiry Feb 21. Lets see what happens.

Thanks for your reply.

The UCI number is either a 8 digit or 10 digit number and is represented as :

1234-5678 or 11-1234-5678

If you have a number starting with CAN, that is a temp number and will change after your application is entered into the system and the processing of your application starts.

IF you have ever filed an application for Canadian visa before (be it study / visitor's etc.) and you were allocated a UCI, your UCI will change to the same one that you had before. An applicant can have multiple application numbers but the UCI number remains the same for most, unless the previous one in purged and a new one allocated.

All application starts with CAN12345567 and then a new number is allocated when the processing begins. This is around the time when you may have received a Bill or when your R10 is passed.

Hello house..Please what does it mean by Eligibility decision not made yet....is it in progress or not started? Cos the agent kept saying that's what he could see on my file when I asked if it's not started or in progress. Any idea?

@legalfalcon

Can you please assist with my query?

I had filed an application for temporary visa but later withdrawn it after a month. I got request for form IMM 5669. There was a question there that if I have ever been refused any permanent resident visa or temporary visa to Canada. I answered No to that. My previous UCI has been updated on the file automatically.

Is withdrawing the application same as being refused? What should have I answered, please? I am scared. I did write an LOE while submitting the EAPR that I had previously applied for a TRV.

Thanks

For Ircc to meet up with the target of 400,000 immigrants by 2021, the process should be faster than the current process
