My app was received on October 2nd. I got a ghost update on March 19, but no news after that. I am still waiting for any substantial updates.
Congratulations to everyone who have heard back from CIC and who has got their AIP. I am not sure what a ghost update means but, I saw update on my application yesterday and when I clicked on it, nothing changed. I want to believe that is what you guys called ghost update, if that is the case, then, I do want to believe we are all close then.

Since he was in restoration for his OWP my understanding is it could not have been approved unless I had been approved as a sponsor, my status hasn't changed yet on ECAS but I am assuming I must be.
