ECAS went from 'application recieved' to 'in process' finally.
How long till i get an official email or AOR2

i got the email for file transfer after 2 days.

i have not received any email from LVO. some local visa offices never send an AOR2. London visa office is among the ones that do not send AOR2 as far as i know

It depends actually. In our case it has taken 12 days after getting the file transfer e-mail. Some people never get the AOR2. But the changes in ECAS means your file is processing in VO.

my ecas updated yesterday with line: We started processing your application on January 23, 2018.

my ecas had changed to "in process" jan 15 and rcved transfer email on jan 17.

Around this time a lot of October applicants will be getting their files transferred from Mississauga to a visa office that is closer to where the PA is residing. "File transfer" is what we call this and is accompanied by an email notifying you of where your application is going.

Well, we have received the letter from VO informing that they are processing our file and so on. But there were no requirement of any additional document like PCC/ medical. I already collected my PCC from 2 separate countries in advance for saving time. We also submitted our documents for getting provincial nominee from QC authority. Actually little bit worry because of not getting any response from VO. What we understand as you said we should wait and see and hope for the best ..............

My application has also been sent to the regional office (singapore) without giving them all the documents yet. I sent my police checks to the Canada office, but still haven't been asked to do a medical. So strange that it is so different for everyone. Bit frustrating as I would like to have just finished all the little bits I have to get done for this, but hopefully not much longer to wait!

Late last night received what i presume is my file transfer email/AOR2...? It actually came to my sponsors email, i thought it would come to mine. The email subject was "OVS Sponsorship Eligibility Decision FCP VO (application number)."

It said my application has been forwarded to London visa office for processing. Felt a little disheartened as hoped they would keep it at Mississauga and just fire it through quickly! But who is to know how fast things will go.

Just happy its on the move!

CPC M isn't that fast, alot of people have been stuck there with no movement so may not be a bad thing.

yes hopefully! i dont have high hopes for LVO, from what i have been reading they take their sweet time. but i imagine it also depends on PA location etc.

It means your vo has received the application and will start processing it soon. Next thing youll see is a line that says "we started processing your application on xx-xx-xxxx". This is the unofficial aor2
