Canadian Immigration Processing Still Has “High Error Rate”

According to a review of 996 files handled at the Vegreville Case Processing Centre in Alberta, which deals with permanent residence applications, between November 1 and December 6, 2014, the quality management team found that of the 617 request letters sent to applicants:
13 per cent did not address all missing items;
23 per cent had either no timeline, an incomplete timeline, or did not mention the consequences of failing to reply to the request; and
six per cent were either “not professional” or chose the incorrect template form.

Yeah now its exactly 3 months in my case..............even i applied for my work permit extension and no updates so far ...........CIC processing time shows 45 days for online process :( .............seems to be delays in all the areas of CIC work :(

Hi All,

Here is my timeline. Please keep everyone updated once you receive any news from CIO. Thanks.

BC PNP
Skilled worker
Applied Date: April 09 2014
Nominal Certificate: September 09 2014
Received by CIO: October 24 2014
AOR PR File #: Still Waiting For.

You know guys, CIC people don't care because they are mainly dealing with foreigners. If they had to deal with Canadians, they would have done their jobs. This means that as long as nobody is bringing this up, they will treat us as a sh*t (sorry but it is the truth).

I will try to contact CBC and bring this issue to media. Anybody who is able to do it, please don't hesitate. If CBC received calls from many people, we would have better chance to get our voice heard.

Hi guys,

I received a reply from CIO to my email which I sent on December 12, 2014. It sound a general reply that they send to everybody. They confirmed receiving my application and they said that it is now in queue for initial processing and that the will contact me in due course.

Basically, they did not provide me with any new information.

Here's what I've observed lately.

1) No Applications received after sept 17th have received AOR (PNP Stream)
2) After a stall in AORs, AORs are currently being sent to OPNP nominees that have been on Q&A and have been waiting since May 2014. OPNP applicants from July , August batch with Q&A are not just being caught up

Until the OPNP applicants are caught up to September, our process will be delayed. Let's hope they're caught with the OPNP peeps soon.

I'm NSPN October 16th

Hi, our PR application under PNP was received 27/10/2014 in Sydney, NS. Three months later, still no answer, no medical exam notification, nothing. So the next stop is to get the AOR and the medical exam request? And do you have any idea when will that happen? Thanks!

Also, I 'd like to sent them an email, could you please write the address you used? Thanks!
