26 Sep Applicant Received AOR today....

October 2014 batch turn is on the way!!!

Are you sure about that? Someone called CIC yesterday and they replied if your application was submitted after Sept, 22, 2014. Its not being processed yet. This guy submitted on sept, 30. You can refer from the link below.

I have a friend who applied through AINP through Self Nomination, she then got her certificate and applied to CIC in 10 months she got her PR already. SO fast! She received it on Dec 5, 2014. She said she received her file # and medical request in less than 2 months

That used to be the timeline before September 5th

Camyhome, please do the forum a favor, where did you get this information from ? This forum thrives on general timelines provided by willing forum members. Since the last I saw for AOR was spet 16th, this is a bit off. Where did you see this ?

I sent my application last Sept 29 2014 and received by CIO NS last Oct 2 2014, they encashed my bank draft last Dec 16 2014, Im inland applicant nominated under NLPNP..still waiting for AOR and Medical request till now...too much delay to receive AOR...

Im BCPNP applicant and I sent my documents to CIO Oct. 8th (arrived on OCt. 11th). No AOR yet. Recently my credit card was stolen and I informed their office by email (CIO-Sydney-Search-Enquiry@cic.gc.ca) about the issue on Jan. 5th 2015. However they didn't answer , my credit card company informed me that there was an attempt from CIC to withdraw the application fee on Jan. 7th , However I informed CIO about my new credit card information with a new IMM5620 form by email on Jan. 9th but I didn't hear back from them and after calling them, CIC office told me that all what I can do is to wait for their answer.

I am asking you guys to give me your feedback about the issue , how likely it is that my application would be refused due to this problem. As we all know in these forums , some Sep. applicants haven't got their AOR yet , so it's not my turn yet , but I am worried about the attempt which was done by CIC on Jan. 7th . with a positive point of view they have read my email on Jan. 5th and were trying to verify it on Jan. 7th and with a negative one, it's possible that the officer have tried to open my application independently on Jan. 7th and while the online payment didn't go through it's possible that they would refuse and return my application.

Please give me your feedback about the issue. Thanks and hope we all would get the aor and pr card soon

Not sure buddy. CIC works in a weird way . But I have a question here, i have seen most of the people saying that they are getting their credit card charged, meaning that you sent your credit card information along with the application for payment. But what I did was I paid it online and it was charged from my account when I was submitting my application. Which way is better?

Thanks for your reply . The way that you pay the application fee , you'll make sure that the money have paid to CIC , but the issue is it's non refundable. I know paying the wrong amount to CIC is among the most frequent reasons that CIC would return the applications (specially for families who has to calculate the dependents and ...) . While funds are non-refundable there is a huge problem to figure out how to resolve such a problem for the wrong amount of payment. One disadvantage of my way is , I have to leave $550 in my credit card for a long time , and if there is no credit in the card for any reason by the time that they try to withdraw from your card , your application might be returned.
One advantage of my way is , if you want to cancel your application before start processing it , you can do it. For example right now , one might eligible for Express Entry with his nomination and it is much faster than the usual federal way , but the problem is the fee that you've paid CIC is non refundable . Also my way you'll find out when they would start processing your application ...
Anyway , now I wish I had paid your way and I would make sure that there would be no problem for the payment. No one knows which way would be better for him eventually !!!

I made the online payment with credit card. So, no clue about my application status. Hope we all get AOR soon.
