Any of the recent DM's get any follow up email or paperwork in the mail yet? I haven't.

Not as of yesterday's mail. Checking the Ottawa spreadsheet, user jesmithers reported receiving their COPR yesterday on a Jun 27 DM. Since eCAS seems to update on Tuesdays and Saturdays, that means their file could have been approved for printing as early as post-update on the 23rd, putting the DM->COPR timeline at 1.5-2 weeks. Extrapolating from a sample size of 1 is perfectly scientific, right?

In semi-related news, I still have yet to receive my GMCS notes ordered on the 1st (edit: of June). Contacting the ATIP e-mail about it on Friday resulted in an acknowledgement that my file is indeed overdue and that it's now marked for priority processing, whatever that means.

Perfectly scientific ;D What else do we have to go on? Mine has to travel to the States so we will see on timing. I too ordered my notes (prior to DM) but they aren't technically due until July 22, so perhaps irrelevant at this point.

Words like "extrapolating" and "sample size" make it scientific by default.

The sample size may not be representative of the population :P

Maybe not, but you have to go with the evidence you've got!

Yesterday the FedEx airbills I was asked to send to VO were finally activated.
It says I should receive COPR today!
I see they are sending me two envelopes. I was asked to send two airbills for document return, was anybody else asked to send two or just one?
I think they are returning a lot of the evidence we sent, cause we did send a lot lol.
One envelope is 1.91 kg (4.2lb) and the other one is 2.49 kg (5.5lb)
Tuesday i got DM, yesterday my documents were sent and hopefully I will receive them today!

Yes! WE DID IT!! :)

Wife and stepson landed yesterday, no dramas!

Congrats Fabi !!! Great news. It's been a good month for us :)

My CoPR came in yesterday, 5 days after DM. It's a big relief since I wasn't really sure if I should expect CoPR or the opposite of CoPR. It expires on Nov 23rd 2015.

I hope DMs and CoPRs are on the way for those who are still waiting!

I got my COPR Today too!!
Where is it supposed to see conditions like condition 51? Is it on COPR? Or on visa stamped on passport?
I don't see if I got Condition 51. It says 00/ no conditions on COPR which is funny because me and my husband have no children and I was expecting I would be conditioned.
Anyways, congratulations to you and every October applicant who has gotten positive news these past days.
It is a great feeling to be done with this.
I can wait to be reunited with my hubby.
Hope everyone get theirs very very soon.

Hello! I have to update my timeline cause I messed up on the dates. x_x Stupid phone makes it hard to change numbers. I noticed DM on June 26 (Saturday) but my husbands COPR is dated for the 25. So DM on the 25 and he received his COPR in the mail on July 6. If it helps put a better timeline, my husband lives in Queens NY. :)

Congrats to those who received DM!!! I'm really happy they're pushing 2014 applications through. :D

FML.... Seems like I am the only October Ottawa one left around..

Nope. I'm still here from October 1st and have heard nothing since SA in November. Ordered my notes and it went to Ottawa on Dec 1st, went to 'Registry' and then 'inventory'. So my file is basically sitting in a box or pile somewhere collecting dust. Oh no, you're not alone at all.

Congratulations to you also!

Maybe you'll get condition statement when you land? I won't get it since my husband and I have a child in common.

Can anybody else answer the question? It's a good question though. I haven't seen anybody else brought it up yet.

Close enough. It means your husband's COPR didn't move on the 26th or 4th, but it did move on the 1st if it had already crossed the border. Interesting that the COPR was dated just before the Saturday DM update, which means there seems to be little in the way of printing delay.

It should be on the COPR if present. Is your relationship newer than two years? Condition 51 only applies to sponsorship of short-duration relationships.

CIC website states:
'Sponsored spouses or partners in a relationship of two years or less and who have no children in common with their sponsor at the time of the sponsorship application have a condition attached to their permanent resident status.

... So unless you guys have been in a relationship less than the 2 years then it wouldn't apply to you. I think it's more the relationship being short part than the not having children together part they care about... i guess so that they are being proactive if it turns out to be a marriage of convenience.
