OCTOBER 2014 OUTLAND APPLICATIONS!

FML.........I am October 23, Ottawa, and not even "In Progress" yet. Gosh...

I wouldn't worry too much about "in progress". For us, it only showed up the same day as DM. For the longest time we just had application and medicals received. Out of nowhere, it went to DM and at the same time they added in process, but dated 2 days prior.

YMMV, of course.

Sometimes with the written word it's hard to understand if there's something going on, but I wasn't trying to dismiss what you were saying, just that I had no opinions on why CIC had requested the birth certificate or what it could mean. I just wanted to let you know that getting DM, without them asking you point blank to prove your relationship or giving you an interview, is a good thing.

Oh good, I've had a few crossed wires on here lately, where people are mad at me because of a misunderstanding, so I'm glad that wasn't the case here!

Oh good, I've had a few crossed wires on here lately, where people are mad at me because of a misunderstanding, so I'm glad that wasn't the case here!

It wasn't the case at all. The last thing I want is to come here and have arguments. None of us needs that. We have enough stress from waiting and wondering about our applications.

I can't modify the October spreadsheet for some reason, no editing options. Anyone else having trouble? I didn't have any issues with the Ottawa spreadsheet. If someone can edit, please add my DM for July 2.

Landed yesterday, on Rainbow Bridge in Niagara Falls, and it was awfully long. Probably choosing 4th of July was not my best decision, so many people! I waited 2 hours already after they took my passport. Other than that, everything was nice and quick, no problems, nice officer. Just one advice: probably best not to choose the US/Canadian border in tourist city, on the day when most people travel both ways like crazy

I have trouble when using Safari, since long time spreadsheet does not work properly. Everything ok on Firefox

Any of the recent DM's get any follow up email or paperwork in the mail yet? I haven't.
