COPR received and landed today at the CIC office in Vancouver.

Congratulations! Sounds like the stars were all lined up for you perfectly! Your case has to be one of the fastest. I didn't think anybody could land in 2 to 3 months! Really happy for you!

To those fellow applicants who are waiting for SA, I hope your SA will come in soon and I hope this late SA is the only roadblock on this journey.

So far I've hit one roadblock. My application was wrongly processed as inland in the beginning. It's all fixed now but it was very scary at that time.

Maybe some of us are meant to hit one roadblock. Since we've hit a roadblock already, the rest of the journey could be smooth sailing for us. One can hope, right?

Congratulations. Good to see CIC is working. Did they send your file to your local VO or have they kept the application at CIC-M? :)

Thank you! Yes, I was processed in Mississauga, even though I applied outland via the Sydney office.

How on earth did you go from SA to COPR in such a short time? That's amazing! Is it because you're already in Canada you think?

It looks like more and more applications are being put into the inland pile by mistake.

Hopefully it shows soon

Thats interesting, by looking at your timeline you received an AOR 2 weeks after your app was received. Is this what clued you off to that they may have made a mistake and put you inland?

Interesting thing is I never received an AOR but I was told by one call centre agent that my file is in the inland pile... Lets see what happens next.

Hmmm, do you live in Canada? Or is your spouse in Canada? When I was on the phone last week I was asked what my present address was in Canada, we all live in the USA and I'm trying to get my family to Canada. I was slightly concerned with that question, but I didn't probe further. Maybe I should have.....

It makes you wonder how they could make such a gross mistake as that?

No, actually I was like yayyy I got AOR. So I posted on this thread and a few people on here were like it's odd that I got AOR. Also the letter was addressed to me when it should have been addressed to my sponsor. So I reread the letter carefully and it said " My application for family sponsorship in Canada class has been received ". I'm so glad I caught that early, thanks to the forum.
