Nothing to be worried about. Your application was received on Nov 2nd and CIC is currently working on applications received Oct 16th & onwards. You shall hear in the new year .

I think it's normal that you haven't heard anything yet. I'd also suggest you use the November 2014 forum, since that's technically when you applied. In other words, it's based on when they received it, not when you sent it.

I am a Canadian citizen and my wife just had a baby last month in Nigeria. I have 2 other kids who are also Canadian citizens and I have applied and received their citizenship certificates. Is it possible to just include the new born with my wife application and then apply for citizenship certificate once they get here or should I apply for the baby citizenship certificate right away? It may taker longer... Any ideas?

congrats, when was your sponsorship application received by CIC? What kind of sponsorship is it? If it is family sponsorship, I do not think you get a form to fill. You go to the doctor and they will take care of it electronically. They'll give you a document with some id numbers on it that you submit to the visa office.

Hello we sent our application last Oct 10, and was rcvd by CIC on the 15th Oct. We are in tbe family class category. My visa office is here in Manila, Philippines. So I think I'll just have to call the accredited clinics to confirm it. Thanks again

The form you're talking about is the "e medical form" you receive when you're done with the physical. It contains your basic info along with a picture they take of you at the Dr's office and the UMI number. The UMI number is what they will use to look in their system to find you physical.

Just a small update, I had called CIC in the morning and the person was on the nice list he spent 10 mins looking deeper and said since we have crossed 61 days he is going to notify Miss. and ask what's happening.

Everything's slowed due to holidays. I'm day 69 too, but I haven't heard anything.
